If you own a Remington Tactical...
I"v read many articles and checked blogs and there is a lot of talk about how easily the remington tactical contracts rust. With pump type application I think you don't waist as much as using the spray can. I have the remington cleaning towel and I use the pump bottle to add a little more rem oil to the towel. I haven't noticed any rust at all, yet. I suppose I'm a remington fan and I like everything remington to far. But I"m open minded to any product that does the job.

I started using this on my tools. I work ...
I started using this on my tools. I work as an electrician, but sometimes I have the unfortunate luck to have to work in the rain. I lent my tin snips to a landscaper and they were left out in the rain for a couple days. When I noticed they were still sitting out, I was concerned, but they had no rust and seemed to still be lubricated a little even.

Good protection
Rem oil is good stuff and protects the metal from rust. It's okay as a solvent, although products that are designed for that purpose, Hoppes and Gunscrubber work better. As a lubricant, I'm not sure because it dries so fast. It's supposed to leave a teflon coating and probably does but I want to see some evidence that there is actually some lube on the parts that need it.

Works Great.
Love the product and that it can be controlled via a finger pump rather than pre pressured gas. That is the main advantage hear in terms of indoor use! I avoid using aeresol type sprays indoors at all costs! Also this product has a very good and long trusted American Brand name behind it and that is why I bought it and it held up to that brand name!!!

Does not flow with gravity during storage
Oil will flow with gravity during storage leaving critical components without lube. This grease does not, I use it on all of my firearms.

A classic
Always have had remoil for the quick and dirty wipe down and protection against rust. There are some kinds that protect better for long but they are also gonna cost more so as long as you do your part then it will do its part.

Use this along with the presaturated wipes.
I use this not only on the metal parts of my hand/long guns but also on the stock. Gives it a nice coating. I throw the presaturated wipes in my range bag so if needed I can wipe down the guns at the range.
