The magnifier is exactly 10 X and the whole of the instrument is very solidly built. I particularly appreciated the mm needle for its accuracy.The 2 LEDS are bright and well focused. The magnifier would be perfect for stamps.I'm very pleased with it. Quite the bargain!

Focal Length issue - not hands free
The focal length of the lens does not match the stand height! That means I have to life it up about 1cm from whatever I've laid it on, so not exactly hands free. Sturdy construction though.

Focal plane is wrong
Quite well made but much smaller than I was expected (should have checked the dimensions). The focal plane is not adjustable and fixed at approx 10 mm below the bottom surface, making it unusable in its present form

Useless - focus was completely off
This magnifier focused on a plane about 10mm further away than the bottom frame, making it totally useless.
