This little charger was the perfect solution to traveling to Italy with my electric toothbrush from the U.S. It plugged into the two prong outlet and converted the voltage, even though it's not marketed as a converter. No need to buy a converter!

The base gets slightly warm, but the toothbrush end is still cool to the touch. Great for overseas trips.Update: I've been using it for about a month now in Europe since I was assigned here for a year. I don't know if it's actually charging or just charging really really slow, the charging light on my Oral B Braun never stops blinking even after 18 hours on the charger. When I used my toothbrush in the states with the official charger that came with, the charging light turns off after 1-2 hours. My solution is just to buy a stepdown converter that can change 240V to 120V and use the original US charger that the Oral B came with.

I wanted to be able to travel around the US and then go straight to Europe with only one toothbrush charger. I can use the charger while traveling in the US with our multi-adapter, and then use the adapter for my phone and computer in Europe. We've checked that the system will work here; I hope it will work just fine in Europe too. If anything changes, I'll come back and comment.

I’m so happy to have found this. I haven’t traveled with my electric toothbrush be use I didn’t have a charger for international travel. I expect it will work well.I’ll amend this review after or during my trip.

Purchased charger in October for use in Europe over the Christmas holidays. Arrived in Europe in December and charger does not work.Messaged seller - zero responseI'm now outside of the return window so Amazon won't replace even though the charger is defective.Avoid this product/seller.

I ordered this charger for a Oral-B Pro 5000 toothbrush that I will be using in Europe in order to avoid using the voltage converter. With a US outlet adapter, it has been working fine at 120 V. After I have an opportunity to use it in Europe, I can update my review.This charger is a little larger than the original Oral-B inductive charger that came with the toothbrush so it does not fit into the toothbrush head storage stand which I don't use anyway.
