This is really a nice razor and brush stand. There are approximately 20 or more of these type stands on Amazon, but I chose this one because it states up front that it's made from stainless steel and is guaranteed not to rust. I hope that's true and only time will tell. The weight of the stand is perfect and holds either item independently without tipping over, which I've read with other stands is a problem...take the razor off the stand and the brush's weight tips those stands over and vice versa. The black finish is nice and is not shiny. My only problem is my razor (TAOS nickel and black compact) is too narrow for the razor side of the stand and it falls between the prongs and has hit the counter top a few times. If the prongs were just a bit closer together, say about 1/8" closer together, my razor would hang properly. That's not the stand's fault so I gave it 5 stars and I recommend this stand very much. BTW the brush I have is an Edwin Jagger medium best badger and it fits perfectly on the brush side of the stand.

Based on the stand description and the product reviews, I purchased the Razor and Brush stand. It meets the description and my requirements. I am using it with my Gillete Trac II razor and a boar hair brush. The stand allows both the razor and brush to air dry. Because of the stand's height, the brush hangs upside down to dry per the manufacturer's instructions.The weight of the stand prevents it from tipping over. The black coating will prevent rusting.I would recommend this stand to any one who is looking for a quality product to maintain their shaving gear. It sells at a good price point for what it does.

Honestly, for the price I paid I was expecting something cheap. In actuality, this is a very solid stand that doesn't give me the feeling that it'll break anytime soon. Also It looks way better than I had imagined, the black paint didn't consist of any imperfections from what I've seen. I just started using a safety razor and rather than buying a pre-made kit, I opted to put together my own. So with that being said, take my advice with a grain of salt, but I believe this stand made a great addition to my "personal kit".

Works great with my parker safety razor silvertip badger hair brush and fusion razor. Nice weight to it so it feels stable when pulling the brush and razor off or putting them back on.The fusion fits on sideways but securely. Great stand.

This is just what I needed. I shave in the shower and I wanted a stand that I could leave in the shower and not worry about rusting. This is it. The bottom of the stand has rubber feet on it so it doesn't slip. The price is right as well.

my tines came pinched in, had to push them apart, but heavy duty metal, hard to bend. oil the threads if you take it apart to put in shaving kit, and then don't tighten too much.
