it can be used on its own. It helps a lot I smoked about 40 years, I quit for about a year. And slipped up started smoking again. Now I am back taking Vice Breaker. Before trying this product I try patches But nothing seem to help as much as this. I wish you best of luck

This is a quandary. We know that Vice Breaker has worked effectively with very heavy smokers, although more than one bottle may be required. Since we do not know what is in the patches, and we have not done any testing or research on this matter, we cannot definitively answer this question.
