49" 3000 lb Hay Spear with Stabilizer Spears Bale Spike Fork Tine (SS -WS -SS)

None of the reviews specified what kind of bale was being moved. I bought this kit to build my own front loader spear for 3x4x8 alfalfa bales that typically weigh 1200#. I had three people tell me that it wouldn't work. I finally got a chance to try it today and it works great! Very easy to stab and pull out with only one long spear. The stabilizer spears are long and heavy enough to do half of the weight. There was no tearing up at all with the 1200# alfalfa bale that I lifted two feet off the ground.

I am building a bale spear attachment for my front end loader and ordered this set of spears to use on it. The package arrived today, and the sleeves for the stabilizer spears were not in the shipment. I called Titan Distributors customer service, and, after some back and forth, the representative said the sleeves would be shipped today. If and when they arrive, I will update this review.The spears themselves and the sleeve for the bale spear look to be quality products that will work well with the attachment I am building.

This kit arrived exactly as ordered. I had a trailer mover that I purchased for ranch work. I was able to weld this up in a couple of hours and the fact that it can be easily taken down gives me a 5 minute turn around to switch from moving round bails to moving a trailer.

Very well made, I prefer a smaller diameter stabilizer bars, but these fit the receiver.

Bends like a toothpick. My genuine green spear doesn’t bend... can’t use.
