Comfortable and it works!
I absolutely love this brace! It is by far the most comfortable one I have tried. I tried one where the brace is on the top of the foot but the aluminum stabilization bar was pushing on nerves and causing numbness and discomfort. This one does not. It is very easy to put on and has greatly diminished my pain from planter fasciitis. It took a little bit to get used to sleeping with it on mostly because I don’t like to have things on my feet when I sleep but now it really doesn’t bother me. It is lightweight and doesn’t make my foot hot. I wear 7-8 in women’s shoes and I ordered the small brace and it is a perfect fit. Plus the design is very cute!

Other than that it’s nice and soft but yet gives me support
It does run big I could have used a medium the large I ordered is slightly to big. I think if I had a medium it wouldn’t go caught in the covers so much. Other than that it’s nice and soft but yet gives me support.

Sorry - waste of money for me.
Does not keep your ankle snug at a 90 degree angle which defeats the purpose. It also is hot to wear during the summer.I will agree that it is soft on your skin

I got a decent night sleep
I suffer from bilateral chronic achilles tendonitis. Sleep has become a luxury. I was issued a night splint from my doctor and although it helps with the initial step on to the floor from after a night in bed; it hardly helped me with a decent night sleep. I bought this item on October 2nd and have used it that evening. It is so soft, so comfortable that I didn't realize that I was in a boot. It kept my feet 'in position' . I did not need to wear socks like the prescribed night splints I got from my doctor.I actually fell asleep. When I woke up in the night to use the bathroom, it was easy enough to get in and out. It wasn't until the next morning that I realized how sleep deprived I've been. The splints that was prescribed come with thin velcro straps on the sides and when I need to 'go' I have one heck of a time getting the darn things off. Its worst when I get back in bed and got to get the stupid things back on that many nights I just don't even put it on! This night splint by FLEXIBRACE works ! Its easy to get on and easy to get off. I can do it with my eyes closed. The point is having the brace on at night so the foot doesn't drop and keeping it stretched reduces the pain the next morning. So, I can honestly say, it does that for me!I bought a Large. I normally wear a US 10.5 to 11 womens shoe or a 8.5 -9 mens shoe. Length 10-3/4" .

Not sure of how this helps
The idea of this product is to wear while sleeping and pain gets controlled. I found that, even though I ordered size small, it moved around too much while wearing because it was too big for my size 8-8 1/2 foot. The back of my heel and the top of my foot started hurting so I had to take it off. Also, the Velcro portion not used was catching on pj's. On the plus size, it is attractive and soft. Please note: When I showed this to the podiatrist, he stated the size didn't matter, it would have worked for plantar facitis if I was able to tolerate it. I tried again while watching TV and was able to fit it tighter. However, after a few minutes the top of my foot hurt. I don't see how I can recommend buying it because after several tries, it is now sitting unused in the closet.May 12, 2015: I now wear this while watching tv in the evening. It helps. I don't see how anyone can sleep in it.January 22, 2016: Was reading some of the other reviews/questions. My advice is to NOT walk in this device, even if you can. It would only make your problem worse and may even cause additional pain.

I find it comfortable and have no problem sleeping with it on
This has worked well for me and has definitely significantly helped lessen the plantar fascitis pain I have been experiencing. I find it comfortable and have no problem sleeping with it on. I feel like my foot slides around in it a bit, so I wonder about the sizing (I wear a 9.5 women's shoe) but it stays on and the bottom line is that wearing it has helped with the pain. I had almost immediate relief within the first couple of days, and now that I've worn it consistently every night for several weeks, I find the pain has gone away enough that I have several times forgotten to put it on before going to bed. When the pain comes back a little, I remember to wear it again, and the pain gets better. I think I will use it on and off as long as I continue to have a problem with plantar fascitis. Highly recommend, worth the cost.

Worked with some alterations.
Way too big but cutting a few inches off the toe after removing from fabric skeeve by utiliing garden pruning clippers and adding padding in the foot area causing the bend of the knee area to fit lower on the leg.

Best night splint!
This night splint is by far the best one I have used. I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and Tarsal tunnel syndrome. I was given the standard plastic gray one from the doctor. It worked for the pain but was uncomfortable. When I slept on my side and bent my legs the top of the splint would dig into my quad. I also would sweat against the plastic. I then tried one of the dorsal splints that have the stiff plastic on the top of the foot. Didn't work for the pain. That led me to this one. It is soft. It doesn't dig into my thigh. The large velcro strips hold it in place firmly, without the need for those straps that go from the toe area to the calf area on some other ones. The cloth covering is comfortable-no sweating. The velcro stays in place. It doesn't snag on the blankets. The only con is that there is no traction on the bottom. Not a problem for me, as I have carpet. But, if you have non-carpeted floors, these may be slippery.
