We have a dryer vent that the birds love. We've been battling to keep them out. We were going to replace the whole cover but that was going to include drilling new holes in the brick but even then the cover was still plastic. We took the cover off placed this between the cover and the opening and it works great! No more bird's nests in our vent.

The material is a nice strudy metal. It fit in perfectly. The only thing I would have liked to see was something to hold it on better. If I was good with tools I could have probably bent it a little on the edges to make it fit better, but then I could have bought the material myself and made it. It comes with 2, so if you know someone else having the same issue, you can pass it on to them.

I removed my previous screen for cleaning and misplaced it. Found these on Amazon and was pleased to find the perfect size. The openings are bigger and round making it less cumbersome to clean. I was skeptical as it looked flimsy but it is actually very sturdy and was easy to install. Even replaced the exhaust vent outside with the other one. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

Easy to install, pulled off the louvered vent .. CUT with a pair of scissors the thin medal ..made it ROUND to fit my cover. Replaced the cover and it was very easy to do. I feel so much better knowing my vent has added protection to keep out creatures.

Had to glue to inside of vent since was a bit small for a 4x4 vent.

The first time I ran the dryer after I installing this vent grill my dryer started making groaning noises and there was a ton of condensation leaking onto the ground. I removed the screen and found a ton of lint pressed against it. It was even worse than the rag someone had stuffed into the vent before, presumably to keep pests out. Now I just put a piece of duct tape over the vent when I'm not running the dryer--much safer for my dryer. It's only six months old.

Had some birds make their way into my bathroom exhaust vents. Had to do a little trimming of these grates with some tin snips but they held in place perfectly. Just be sure to only trim a little so it pressure fits in place. The metal was the perfect thickness to not interfere with the movement of the louvers. Glad I found this item, was a time & money saver!
