Purina ONE Lamb and Rice Dry Dog Food, 8 lb Bag

This dog food has worked out very well for us and has become our regular staple dog food. It seems to be good quality, and most importantly, my dog really likes it and eats it without any issues. I also think it’s reasonably priced compared to many other brands. The 8-pound bag is a perfect size for us because it’s easy to handle and lasts almost exactly one month. That made it really convenient to set up on Subscribe & Save so I don’t have to worry about running out. Overall, this has been a dependable, good-quality dog food at a fair price, and I plan to continue purchasing it.

Oh, and our dog loves it!

I buy this whenever I need emergency dog food because it gets to my house quick. It’s not what my dogs eat everyday but I get it when I’m in a pinch and my dogs eat it all up.

Only dry food my picky schnauzers will eat!

I typically buy my two huskies top of the line dog food when I’m not feeding them raw meat. For some reason, they are picky and won’t always eat dry food. When it comes to Purina, they love it. I don’t know why, I think because of how it looks and the different pieces. For once it isn’t expensive so I’m not complaining, dry food is a supplement not a main meal.

I know Purina One is not considered the snootiest of dog foods, but our dogs like it and thrive on it. We used to go to specialty shops (sometimes quite a drive) to buy those fancy brands, but they got to where they're ridiculously expensive. Finally we were like, "Nope, can't do this anymore." Our vet says this brand is just fine and our dogs are healthy. My only complaint is that our local grocery store stopped selling this 8 lb size bag. They only sell the 16.5 lb bag, which is too big and goes stale faster, so we order this 8 lb size on Amazon. Kind of a pain, but it works.

Dogs loved it

I started buying this Purina product after my brother told me how satisfied he was using it for his dog. I started with the 8 lb. Size and decided to try the Amazon 16 lb. Size for convenience. I honestly was a bit hesitant to even try ordering any size bag at all, when I read and saw some very bad reviews about this product some people had received———like really gross pictures with worms, maggots, spider type webs and teeny white eggs in the opened bags! My various past purchases done with Amazon have been successful, so I decided to buy the Purina 16 lb..Product was delivered on time and is a nice and fresh bag.. My Blue Heeler was on “my heels”’ when I opened the box. She LOVES her Purina Dog food!! My Bella sends her thanks to both Amazon and Purina!!! We will be ordering again.
