Review: Soft and pretty - This set is nice and soft, amply-sized, pretty, and very well made. It is fairly thin, but that is just what I wanted. It lays on the bed well, and looks really nice. I like the way it is stitched and edged. The shams fit my king size pillows. I am happy with my purchase.

It’s a gorgeous sea blue/green color with white dots for the backing, which after reading some reviews I was worried wouldn’t look right as they said it didn’t match but the color matches perfectly with the coloring on the front. It’s a great weight, very light weight, so can use in the summer but this is a perfect look for winter time. 100% cotton! The only thing I wish I could change is the size of the shams. I got a king set and wish standard shams would come with it, the king shams are huge. But definitely a keeper!

**Q: The description says standard shams for quilts, but others describe them as large w/ king size. Do I need King pillows with King quilt?**
A: In my experience, yes. Buy some cheap ones just for the shams. I have queen pillows to sleep on, & the king in shams for looks.

**Q: Is the back of this quilt quilted too?  Some of the photos look like only the front is quilted.**
A: hi yes the quilt is stitched thru to both sides of the quilt

**Q: Is it too feminine for a man's bedroom?**
A: My husband doesn't care,  so it's been fine.  But I personally think the pills polka dot lining is feminine and more youthful than I would like.  It's very comfortable overall.  My main concern is that it did shrink significantly the first time I wash/ dried it. I should have ordered a king for my queen bed.

This quilt is exactly what I was looking for. It is light weight, 100% cotton, and will fit in my large front loading washing machine. The quality is great and if it lasts like past Laura Ashley bedding it will last for a long time. The blue on the back of the quilt is more of a sea green and definitely a different shade of blue than the sheets I have purchased in recent years. It fits my king bed well with enough to tuck under the mattress at the foot. The colors are slightly different than I expected but still beautiful and blends with the green and medium blue and cream I already have. The sea green is more prominent than the medium blue, lime green, and gray on the front pattern.
