Okay, I just bought this and I am debating on whether or not to send it back. First off, it says it comes "pre-seasoned", but it actually doesn't. A lot of people said they got a book that came with it saying how to season it, I didn't get one. But lucky for me I've been dealing with cast iron for a long time. So the first thing I did was season it, 3 times in the oven. After the seasoning was done it became pretty much non-stick.The next thing is I thought it would be bigger than it actually is. I thought you could fit 4 burgers in here are maybe 2 small steaks. On my first cook the only thing I could fit in was to Burgers. And you're only going to be able to fit one steak in here at the most if you're lucky, and the steak isn't too big!Next are the cleaning tools that they said with which are pretty much useless! They don't work at all and a little cleaning brush doesn't fit the grooves of the pan!! There should be a discount on the price for a refund of some kind just for the cleaning tools that go with it, that don't work or fit!I have 2 other cast iron skillets that I got from my mom when she passed away. She wanted me to have them and they were really well taken care, and they were really well seasoned.But this pan weighs almost more than both of them combined! It's one heavy pan I can tell you that much for the size!!!I'm handicapped in a wheelchair and I have a little bit of a problem getting it on and off the stove myself. So if there's anybody out there that isn't very strong or has dexterity problems, you're probably not going to want to buy this pan!!If you know how to deal with cast iron, rusting shouldn't be a problem. Just put it on the heat after you're done washing it, don't use soap just put it on there water while it's warm and clean everything off of it.Then put it back on the heat and warm it up, let the heat dry all the moisture off the pan. And while the pan is still warm, like the handle is very warm. Then put some oil in the pan, you want to use high heat oil like flaxseed oil or grapeseed oil. Not too much, just a little. Then take a lint-free rag and wipe the oil around the inside and outside of the pan.The seasoning will only adhere to the pan while it's warm. And yes you'll have to do this after every time you cook with it. Just make sure you don't put too much oil in there you don't want it laying in oil or dripping in oil, just a very light coat to make it non-stick. If you season your Pan once you get it in the oven, and then season your pan after every use it should last you a lifetime.

I really loved the way my grilled chicken turned out...char marks on the surface yet juicy on the inside. I'm sure grilled veggies and/or seafood would have also been great. It has all the advantages of cast iron in that regard. My only problem was that it was very hard to clean given the ridges (which unfortunately are necessary to get that grilled effect. The pan scraper supplied was really not of that much help. I hope that someone will provide a better means of cleaning a product like this.

I love this pan! At times it can be hard to clean but still a good buy!

Great skillet for steak, fish, and grilling other meats. You will have to season it a few times upon receiving it. Tried using it after seasoning it once and had to do it 2 more times before it became fully usable. Great quality cast iron overall though

I added this item to my collection of cast iron cookware as I did not have a grill pan. Unfortunatly after the first use the pan began to rust. I know how to wash and care for cast iron. I purchased a pre-seasoned pan as I have seasoned pans before and do not want to do it again.Therefore I am having to return the item.

needed a cast iron but didn't want to invest a lot. This one fit the ticket. Allows me to have grill marks and seasoned meat without burning a pan.

What a nice pan. It was delivered on time and seller sealed the pan in a flat sturdy box and then placed it in another sturdy box. The order had two tools to use, a nice thick rubber handle to attach and great preseason instructions. I haven’t cooked much with cast iron and I was so pleased to get simplified, yet explicit instructions on how to preseason, which I never knew how to do. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

El sartén cumple con todo y bien, excepto por que la cubierta de la asa, que es de silicón; es muy delgada y si transmite calor. No al grado de no poderse manipular pero no es cómodo que este caliente y se deba usar un guante o trapo para manipularlo luego de minutos de uso.
