**Q: Could you do a watercolor under painting on this paper?**
A: I’m not sure, I’ve never tried it, as the paper is made for oil based paint or pastel- so I’m not sure how the watercolor will settle on the paper (absorb in?); but it’s an extremely good quality paper, just much smoother than typical watercolor paper so that might be a consideration.

I have never purchased specific paper for oil pastels until now. I didn't have problems with the regular paper I have used in the past, but it was always pretty lightweight and flimsy. I never wanted to attempt framing it. This paper is heavier, and when I finish a picture I really like, I wouldn't mind investing in a frame.
