I have purchased these books from David Ridges for all the standard works. It’s as if I’m reading the Book of Mormon for the first time. A great help to my gospel study.

I needed this. So helpful in allowing me to understand heart and head matters. Explaining context and history, why things are said the way they are. So necessary. So thankful for this series!

This is a great scripture resource. I love that it includes every scripture verse with the comments inserted for clarification. The insights are valuable as aid in understanding the verse, the culture, the history, etc. Extremely well researched and written.

If you’ve ever read the Book Of Mormon, you know at times it can be hard to understand everything. This book really gives you that extra boost to really understand and dive right in!

This book provided insights I had never considered in previous reading of the Book of Mormon. I highly recommend this book.

I have made a commitment this year to read the Book of Mormon every day. I have been pretty faithful and am on my second time through since January. After finishing it in April I really wanted to "study" along with simply read but I didn't know where to start or what resources to use. I tried the institute study manuals, but found they jumped around within the text and weren't convenient. Then, someone suggested trying these books and I was instantly hooked. I bought the kindle version and read it on my kindle app on my smart phone. It is absolutely the best solution for me. I can read anywhere and I can stop and start if I am interrupted and it takes me right back where I stopped when I come back to it. The best part for me is that I have the entire text right there as I am reading along. I don't have to skip from the book to my scriptures and back. I can just read. All the notes and comments are integrated in the text and he is very clear and very detailed. I got so much from my study of 2 Nephi and I have taken several classes on Isaiah, but this was just brilliant. The only small quibble I have with the kindle version is that the formatting is not really great. In the written book (I looked at a bookstore), his notes are indented and the material he pulls from other sources is in a different font. In the kindle version, it is all the same size of type so it is sometimes difficult to differentiate as you read. Despite that, though, this is the best scripture study system I have used and now that I am through the Words of Mormon, I am here on Amazon buying Volume II. I really recommend this for anyone interested in a convenient, but thorough, study of the Book of Mormon.

I have the whole series and each book offers background tidbits and other insight that helps with studying.Highly recommend this and the other series!

there is no change to the original text but lots of additional information including the cultures and language of the time. Very insightful and useful. The additional information helps to strengthen the student's belief.

As a reference to my readings of the Book of Mormon

I've read The Book of Mormon many, many-times and was about to commence a study of it once again and I found myself knowing what was to come next and that bored me. So I needed to look at The Book of Mormon from a different angle and it was while I searched the Kindle Store for either LDS Books or Mormon Books that I came across the works of David J Ridges.And wow, what a selection this man has available...so I decided to download all three available volumes on The Book of Mormon Made Easier and my own perspective of this amazing volume of scripture open up my eyes to greater understanding that I'd encountered for years...so much so that upon reading these three volumes that I then downloaded and commenced reading his 'Made Easier' versions of The Doctrine & Covenants and as I type I'm more than halfway through The Pearl of Great Price made easier and soon will get the ones for The Old Testament & The New Testament...David J Ridges I thank GOD for your inspiring works...God Bless You.
