This is a handy little tool and seems to work, I cannot say how accurate it is but for the money it's worth having in your toolbox. The battery cover is a little fiddly to remove but is not a big issue. Recommended buy.

Purchased because I was concerned about the brake fluid in my car, took me a while to realise how to undo the battery compartment as one doesn’t come with it, but once done it was really easy to use after using, ideal for my tool kit

This Item is easy to use, simply turn on and place in your brake fluid resevoir. The indicators move up to display how much moisture is in your brake fluid. For the price works perfectly on 2 of my vehicles, one with DOT4 and one with DOT5.Do note, this item requires 1 AAA battery not provided. The description DOES tell you this....but its not the most visible and you have to scroll allllll the way to the bottom to see it.Worth the money IMO

Very easy product to use, most difficult part is opening it to fit the battery. It seems to work flawlessly and is quite a good piece of kit to have by you. For your own peace of mind and safety, need to check for water absorption at regular intervals to prevent brake fade.

Useful to check the brake fluid instead of just changing it, when their is no need so saves money

This appears to be a good tool, I can’t really comment on the accuracy. Unused brake fluid gives a green led (0% water). Clean water gives a red led (>4 % water). When I tested the brake fluid in my car which had been in for 2 years, I got a reading of 0% water. On the face of it the brake fluid looks fine and does not need changing, draw your own conclusions!!!

Bit of a gimmick, doesn’t turn red even when it’s put in water.

Nice small little device. Easy to store in glovebox as size of a pen. Helped me checked my brake fluid that needed to be changed. At least helps you diagnose your car brake fluids if its about time for a replacement.

Fácil de usar, cumple su función. Lo he probado en varios coches y funciona perfectamente.

Il détecte juste si c'est du l'huile ou si c'est de l'eau, si on a un mélange il ne détecte rien.Conclusion : il ne sert à rien.
