This was a super easy install that allows my line to be protected vs having my winch line hooked to the front of my Jeep and be exposed. A very good, cheap, solution to securing your winch line.

Works well on metal cables but not as great on synthetic cables. The synthetic cables are much thinner than metal counterparts and this tends to slide only on the synthetics. I keep it on my ATV with the synthetic rope on it anyway to prevent the hook from binding into the winch guides. These have worked well for me since I got them a while ago.

Works well for what it needs to do. It will keep the winch hook out of the fairlead and messing things up. Easy to install and a good price.

this would be 5 stars, but the nuts should have been nylock. you can crank this sucker down, but the only way ill be confident in the bolts staying fastened is if they had nylock nuts. instead i fear that they will come loose. ill be replacing the nuts. otherwise they seem well built and time will tell if they will hold up. im a fanatic about coming back to review things once they fail, so if you see this up, its still holding up from the date it is when youre reading this, since september 2021

They work like there suppose to. Just noticed after 2 months being installed some minor cracks in rubber. Not sure if that will cause an issue with durability or not.
