Works to convert HDMI out into a Windows Webcam w/o drivers - Video & Audio in Zoom - Plug & Play!
Simple plug and play for my use - Audio and Video capture from video camera to PC for use in a Zoom webcast originating in a large room. As you can see from the pics, successfully capturing HDMI out from my Canon HF R800 video camera to the UniSheen UC3200H capture box and into my Win10 lappy via USB 3. Works perfectly. The good:+Absolutely plug & play+Good picture and color quality of the captured video (see pics)+Audio comes through cleanly as well (function, of course, of the HDMI out specs of my camera as well as the UniSheen). This was critical in my case, as I'm using a directional mic into the camera to get good audio from speakers at the front of the room, and wanted both audio and video in one stream for simplicity, audio quality and to avoid A/V sync issues.+Small (two packs of chewing gum or so)+Sturdy aluminum case that is also designed as a heat sink for the chips inside (see pic showing thermal transfer paste on the chips that then press against the inside of the case, nice attention to detail)+LEDs for Power and Action (meaning there is video coming in) are reassuring and useful as diagnostics+USB 3.0 A-A cable included is helpful, as A-A cables are not all that common+Active hardware codec reduces utilization of CPU (not to be underestimated as a help)Improvement areas-Does run quite warm, but then again, the case is the heatsink, so to be expected. Still, would be great if it was a bit cooler, say by machining fins into the case to help dissipate the heat.HDMI outputs are regular features of MANY better cameras, so the ability to convert ANY camera with an HDMI out into a webcam is super useful in these days of WFH and other virtual events.Couple details:✅Had to go into camera settings and turn off the screen icons on the HDMI output to get a clean picture. Camera-dependent of course.✅Had to play with the mic settings to get the right signal level for good audio quality in Zoom. The mic I'm using in this case is a Shure LensHopper YP83 (fantastic mic for this kind of work), and the middle gain setting worked best. Can be further fine-tuned using the camera mic levels as well as the audio levels in Zoom.Net, highly recommended to convert any camera with HDMI out to a webcam, and all the new flexibility that implies.

Plug and play for the Mac and Catalina - buy with confidence!
This HDMI-to-USB box works perfectly to capture 1080p video at 60 fps to my MacBook Pro running Catalina; source video was from 2 different cameras. The laptop has USB-C/Thunderbolt ports only, so the box is connected via a USB-A to USB-C adapter - no problems at all. The computer sees the signal as a standard webcam and the video can be recorded in QuickTime, OBS, or the like. I am not a live-streamer but the box works fine for Zoom meetings, so I assume it would also work fine for gamers. Note that the box cannot transcode a 4K signal to 1080p so your camera must have the ability to output to HDMI in 1080p. Or lower, of course, but that is not of interest to me so I have not tested it. The one thing it lacks is passthrough for monitoring the video stream - this is the only weakness that could lead me to return the item.

Works well, fast shipping.
This product worked exactly as advertised. I'm using it to connect an HDMI camera for use as a webcam, but it could probably be used for many other purposes. The picture quality at 1080p is good. It is automatically recognized as a camera by my computer, so all that is needed is to select the right input in your recording or conferencing software. No additional software or drivers were required. When I purchased the product, I was confused by the picture because it showed a USB A-B cable, with the "A" end attached to the HDMI capture card. I didn't understand how this was supposed to connect to my computer. It seems they have revised the photo, and it matches the product I received. To be clear, the product has a "USB A 3.0" type connector (rectangle shaped like the normal USB on the back of a computer), and the cable is a USB A-A of about 3 ft. Therefore, no additional adapters or connectors are required to connect to a PC with a USB 3.0 port, but you will need an adapter if wanting to use USB C.

Pleasantly surprised
Tried for ages to get one of the Elgato CamLink 4K USB dongle type capture devices. When it became obvious that wasn't going to happen, I decided to try a lesser known brand. It works flawlessly.I've used this capture device with multiple Windows 10 PCs and it has worked with all of them so far.I'm using a Sony A7R2 camera via HDMI and a Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ microphone via USB. Works great with ZOOM Version 5.1.0 (27830.0612). Used it for about 2 hours straight today without issue. It gets warm after a while but not dangerously hot. Should be fine for several hours in an air conditioned room.If you need to video chat for work, and also happen to have a DSLR or Mirrorless camera with HDMI output, get this. Just do it. The difference in quality compared to a laptop webcam or even a standard usb desktop webcam is insane.
