Mounting hardware accounts for fixed dock only, not floating. May have to modify
This ladder is light weight, the assembly is easy, the mounting hardware is designed for you to access the underside of your dock to put nuts and washers on. If your dock has a floating structure underneath this is not possible, so for now I am trying it with heavy deck screws on the brackets. I fear they will pull out through use this summer. I may have to drill the ladder frame and attach permanently with lag bolts. That would undermine the ability to easily remove the ladder. One other observation is the plugs at the bottom of the ladder are not vented so it holds water making it heavier to lift out and water sprays everywhere.

Great ladder with wide steps
Ladder is very easy to step up/down with wide steps and sturdy handrail. We also like the feature where you can easily remove from the water by rotating the ladder up by removing from the mounted clips. However, the holes to insert the step pieces did not line up at all so my husband had to modify. Manufacturing error.......this could be a problem for someone who doesn't have the skills or the tools to remediate

Easy To Use
We have not installed the ladder yet since we’re just into spring, but it’s exactly what we need for the dock at our camp on a wild lake in Downeast Maine.

Dock Ladder
Exceptionally easy to install on my pond dock. The only thing I didn't realize is that the rails are a bit smaller than I had anticipated and they are "squarish", not like the type of ladders one sees in a regular pool.Nevertheless, it works great for me.

The holes for the steps were not drilled Out on 2 of the steps.was trying to send a pic but this site would not let me.
