My rabbits love these! They eat a few a day. It is a staple in our rotation and a great way to get them to eat extra hay. They even chewed on the box when it arrived. The hay cubes are now shipped in a cardboard box, they do not come in a resealable bag. Small Pet Select must have changed their packaging. It is best to get the larger size to get the most value.

Cheaper bags of hay were wasted since my rabbits refused to eat the required amounts. The first cube I offered them was eaten immediately. Success!

UGH! This Hay Cube is soooo close to perfect. The hay doesn’t have alfalfa which is KEY for guinea pigs at least because they shouldn’t have too much alfalfa. Many hay cubes are marketed as “Timothy hay cubes” but if you check the ingredients it has alfalfa in it!! (I’m looking at you Kaytee!). These are sun dried and only Timothy so it’s guilt free! Personally, my piggies moderately enjoy them. They’ll chew it. Not super excited but they do always go around to chewing them and finish them off. My biggest complaint is that either the packaging is poor or the Hay cubes are too delicate and need to be vacuum sealed or something. This is because I’d say probably half the cubes are broken up by the time I receive the cubes so it’s really a waste of cubes when you’re paying for cubes. I still give it to my piggies to rummage through and peck at but if they could improve the packaging this would be an easy 5 stars. Because the quality of the ingredients, it’s 4 stars for sure though!

My critters absolutely love these. There is some breakage/crumbling in the package, but that is to be expected.

My bunnies love the Kaytee compressed hay mini bales, so I assumed they would like this product. The price is certainly reasonable, and having 5 pounds on hand sounded great...until I received the bag and saw that the bottom third of the bag was, essentially, sawdust. I sifted out the dust and sorted the whole pieces, which varied from only a half-inch to an inch in size, still thinking my rabbits would eat them. My time was wasted, because they would not touch them. They sniffed and turned away. I had one piece of the Kaytee mini bales left and put one of each brand in their pen. They immediately chewed on the Kaytee and ignored these. Over the next week I tried a few more times, but they had zero interest. The product appeared to be fresh - no off smell, no moisture, no fungus, etc. It's just tasteless, I guess.

Totally amazed at how the deer and the turkey in the forest behind the house liked this! I expected the march hares and the squirrels to imbibe, but this was unexpected how quickly this drew the crowd. This was small and intended for interior pets. It had a really fresh, herbaceous odor and was a dark green like canned spinach. I'll keep buying, but in bales instead of this size.

Product is what it says it is but most of it is wasted by crumbling in shipping and being thrown around by my bunny. It was a huge mess and most of it went in the trash. I wish they used a filler to keep the hay together better. I will not use this product again.

Not dusty

My rabbit tried these when he was a baby and he didn’t like them. He tried them again a few weeks ago since I still had some left and apparently he’s obsessed now! I’m so glad since they’re a great source of fibers.

I purchased this for my 2 fussy guinea pigs. when I first opened the bag I pulled out a piece that had a bit of fur in it. I checked the rest of the bag but it seems like it was a one off but still a bit disconcerting. My guinea pigs arent in love with this product. they will take a piece from me and chew on it for a few seconds before finding something else they find more tasty. i will keep going until the bag is through but this isn't a product I will replenish.

Great product the chinchillas loved these, and great personal touches from seller, loved the bunny pic on the box, will def buy from here again

Expensive and not good quality no smell so my senior rabbit ignores them waist of time and money
