I do not have a microwave or usb kettle, so I try to find “just add water” type meals that won’t flare me up. The chain of truck stops I frequent allow for free ice and hot water if I bring in my thermos from said chain. I usually have 2 of these at a time, and they are super filling and taste like dessert. When I am home, I do have a microwave, but sometimes I am so lazy that I just grab one of them from my bag and run my bathroom faucet for a minute and just use that hot water and let it sit for an extra minute. It absorbs completely and stays pretty warm even when I do it this way. Lots of other “just add water” need boiling water to prepare them, but this one seems to cook with a really forgiving minimum temperature from a water heater that has the child friendly temperature setting on.
