Steadfast & Strong English Pewter Hip Flask - 6oz - Silver

I did NOT receive this product as a paid reviewer or at a discount. I ordered this as a normal customer to replace an older flask I accidentally left on the golf course. It was a tragic day to say the least. I'm happy to report this new S&S flask is everything i could have hoped for, it is light, good craftsmanship, and the mirror polish is really slick. Arrived without scratches or dings. The only thing i would change is replacing the o-ring in the cap with cork for a more traditional style. Overall, compared to the vast majority of Chinese produced novelty flasks, this one is well above in quality... and its pewter which will gain "character" as time wears on.

Ordered 5 of these as groomsman gifts for my upcoming wedding. Arrived today in gorgeous condition. Definatley hand made as each cap was ever slightly different. Mirror finish was stunning! Performed a leak test on each with no issues. I had an ever so slight issue with the packaging, it contained no small card signifying the number made, etc like some reviewers stated in 2015. This has no bearing on the quality, craftsmanship and shear beauty of these flasks, just a nice touch. I contacted customer service and Sean contacted me back within minutes. He explained that the early models had these and apologized for not including any (not necessary!!) It was just great to hear back from folks from a company that cares. He then offered a small discount to compensate (again, not necessary!!) But it goes to show you the care that they show their customers is the same care that goes into making these beautiful flasks. I wanted to gift something that could be passed on, somewhat exotic (English pewter) and of high quality all at the same time not breaking my bank account in half. I will be ordering more for my finance's Father and perhaps mine.

Okay, this is a straightforward review of my new flask. And no, I do not work for or associated with the sellers. Flask arrived on time and was in excellent shape. Nice simple packing that was also sufficient. Yes, the flask had a greasy residue around the threads and inside the cap. I following the instructions by using vinegar/water to clean the inside. I used the same solution to clean the threads and cap with a paper towel. Flask was ready to use within five minutes. No issues here.Flask is about palm size which fits great in shirt/suit/hip pocket. I am very pleased with my purchase and have received numerous complements on the golf course! Would definitely order again. Would make a great gift!

This was my first flask purchase, so I am new to the world of flasks and what makes a good quality flask. I have had it for about a week now. I did some reading up and most of that research said to look for a pewter flask rather than a stainless steel flask for quality ( or silver if you want to spend more- that wasn't the market for me). For me, I was really just looking for these four things- 1) it doesn't leak. 2) it looks cool. 3) it's of decent quality and not the cheapest out there. 4) it fits in my front or back pocket comfortably.This flask hit all four of those perfectly for me. The packaging was perfect. It had no scratches and was nicely finished. It served its purpose well and imparted no metallic taste to the product. I received an email from the company after I received the flask just to check up on it and to answer any questions I had about their product- I didn't have any but appreciated it all the same. I did order a small funnel to go with it at the time of purchase which just makes it easier, but is not totally necessary. I would recommend this flask. I hope to enjoy it for many years to come.I am not receiving any benefits or discounts to post this review, I simply enjoy the flask.

Nice shiney flask except for a couple issues: 1A) the cap came defectiuous and had a hole on the side that caused it to leak a droplet, 1B) whatever seemed to cause this hole also caused the threading on the flask to be compromised thus making it more difficult to screw the cap on and off, 2) the crappy cap doesn't even have a grip and is slippery when wet/humid, 3) for $60 I would expect much better. Stickin to my stainless steel flask till further due.

This is a fantastic, well-handmade flask with character. I purchased a set of five from Amazon as groomsmen's gifts and I'm very happy I did. My men loved their gift and the flask is something that they'll take care of throughout the years and enjoy -- much more than some cheap imitation from China, much like a good friendship.I received personalized service from the owner, including email updates on shipping, ensuring against any quality defects or shipping damages. i love the quality of this flask, but was very disappointed that it doesn't hold the full advertised 6 ounces! i found out the hard way when i lost almost an ounce of nice bourbon. i should have measured first, but, that's on me. later when i did measure it's capacity, it was just shy of 2/3 of a cup. give it a bit of space, and it holds 5 ounces comfortably. it's also much smaller than the photoshopped pic shows it to be (the one with the happy folks at the table... or, man that dude has tiny hands!!!) i still really like this flask, though. definitely a step above stainless steel!

I love this!!! The flask is sturdy and sleek. And the company is fantastic! They emailed me before I received my purchase, giving me info about the proper care for my flask. They also left info to contact them directly if I had problems. Would absolutely but this again!
