Good product for the money and exact dimensions.

The dowels for my daughter's bunk bed got lost in a move. These were easy to cut to the perfect height. Very sturdy.

Purchased 3/4" size. I realize that wood swells and shrinks, and that's great for the 3 of 10 that are around actual 0.745, but 3 of them are all the way down at 0.715" diameter. The rest are around 0.730-0.735.finish and dryness is very consistent among them and they seem high quality if dimensional accuracy isn't important to you. Since I purchased to be interchangeable 3/4" pegs in 0.750" holes I'm not sure what I'm going to do. May try to soak in oil or drive a screw in the end to swell them up? or may just turn them all down to 11/16.

They're wooden dowel rods. What can you say about wooden dowel rods? They're made out of wood and they're rods. Bout sums it up!

.735 is not .750. When filling a 3/4" hole, .735 doesn't have enough surface wood contact for a strong glue joint. These dowels are not high quality.

I have actually ordered these a few times now, and have been impressed each time. The quality is very high, the measurements are precise, and coloring is very similar between all the dowels. I have used these for a few different projects, and will continue to use them as the need arises.

I was looking for some type of stakes to shore up some Christmas cactuses that are growing very large and drooping. I have covered the dowel sticks with aluminum foil to protect them from the watering and they have worked wonderfully well to prop up the drooping limbs.
