USB Medical Alert Wallet Card USB Size: 8GB

Have not figured out how to attach this item to the USB port on my computer. Can someone tell me how? The black item is not there as shown in the picture.No instructions came with the item. I was going to return it but wound up in ICU in the hospital and my time ran out. HELP ME PLEASE.
