Very nice knife, especially for the price. It is hand forged and was pretty sharp out of the box. Great design, the handle wood is beautiful (picture doesn't do it justice). Seems to be very well crafted and strong. This knife is much better than many U.S. blades I have owned. Country of origin doesn't always reflect quality. This is a quality knife. Surpassed all expectations. Will probably buy one more for wall hanger and more for gifts!

Really pleased with my purchase. For starters, the knife is even nicer looking than it is in the pictures. The wood handle is really something to behold. Arrived very sharp and so far has handled any task with ease. Well balanced, very comfortable to hold and easily chops through branches and other brush without any problem. Great knife to take out hunting. I would absolutely recommend this knife to friends and family. Came with a pretty decent sheath too!

Very nice knife. I won't be using it to chop wood because I have an axe and a hatchet. I won't be using it to dig the fire pit because I have a shovel. I will probably use it to dismember and gut some animals. Then I'll pass it down to my grand children

Elk Ridge Er-012 Fixed Blade Knife 12.5-Inch OverallWhen I first got this knife I was excited. I had paid for over night shipping, and it arrived when it was supposed to. sadly the shipping was the only good thing about this product. I saw some good reviews on this knife, that together with the price of $22.53 convinced me it would be a good idea. It took about two minuets, after receiving the package, to discover that this knife was poorly made. The knife guard is almost completely separated from the handle. It constantly wiggles. And on the knife guard it self there is what looks like the beginnings of rust. The handle it self wiggles back and fourth. which might be because of the almost completely separated knife guard. All in all... Its a waste of money. and if it was not for the hell of trying to return it. I would do so in a heart beat. This knife is going in the trash. What a disappointment.

Knife is great. Fits my hand perfect, REALLY SHARP OUT OF BOX!!! I used it work a few times. Cuts cardboard,plastic wrap and plastic banding like butter! (and plastic is really hard on knife edges) The sheath could have been better made.
