Modern Glamour Wall Clock - 12-inch Round Silver Frame Shiny Gold Sand

I have only had this clock for a little less than a week now, but I had to write a review because I absolutely love it. Its large, easy to see, and does not make any audible noise that I can hear. More than that, its really really pretty. The background is a sparkly teal color, the numbers are a nice, clearly readable black, and the outside rim is a stainless steel color. Many visitors to our home have already complimented us on it. Great buy.

I thought this clock was adorable when I ordered it and was pleased with it's appearance when I received it. Then I put in the battery and watched as the second hand got stuck on the minute hand when it tried to go around. I sent it back and then reordered the same clock, thinking that they would send me a new, improved and actually working clock, however, I'm pretty sure they sent me back the exact same clock as the time was the same as when I was trying to set it before and the second hand got stuck when it got to the minute hand.I will be sending it back...again. This time I know better and will not order the same clock. Very disappointed.

I bought this clock for several reasons. I wanted a quiet clock since I was putting it in a park model camper and therefore would be in a small space. I also wanted something that was easy to read but looked a little different. This clock definitely met all my needs. I don't hear any noise from the clock and it is much better looking than the picture shows. The glitter on the face is not overwhelming just enough to give it interest. I liked it so much I'm ordering another one. Thanks for a great looking clock!

I ordered this clock (silver case with tan sand) for the master bath, because my husband (who apparently has hearing like a bat when it comes to ticking clocks) believed my prior clock had 127db ticking, which was somehow always loudest as we were going to bed. Probably need to call science about that.Anyway, here are the pros and cons:Pros--Surprisingly attractive, more so than I expected. The sand background has a lot of sparkle, which worried me when I opened the package as I thought it might be too much, but on the wall it's just enough to add subtle interest. The numbers are very clear, and the clock is easy to read from many positions around the bath- and bedroom. Very pleased with the aesthetics of the clock. It would not be good for a very small space (it's about 12" across) but on an open wall it looks great.Cons--While this clock definitely isn't a "ticker", it is a mistake to call it "ultra silent." There is the possibility that I just received a slightly faulty one, but the clock motor generates a constant low-level humming, audible from anywhere in the bathroom (but NOT audible over the sounds of music or wind or anything that generates white noise.) It's not pervasive; we can't hear it in bed. But when I'm putting on make-up or taking a bath or generally spending time in the bathroom, the humming noise is my constant buddy. If you need a truly silent clock (and I know they exist!) then this is probably not the clock for you.Overall I'm generally pleased, and if I could give it 3.5 stars I would. If it weren't for the fact that it's not actually silent (and the advertised silence is the reason I bought this particular clock in the first place,) I'd give it 5 stars.

The company was excellent to deal with. The original clock arrived damaged (plastic face cracked) and they were very responsive in sending a replacement. The golf sand on the face of the clock is REALLY gold- almost like glitter rather than sand. I was expecting it to be more subtle. But, that said, it's eye-catching and serves the purpose.

LOVE this clock!!!! The photo does not do it justice because the blue glitter is brighter and the perfect color for my bathroom! I love it so much I'm purchasing another one in Tan for my master bathroom. The clock is also silent which is a must to live in this house :). Couldn't be happier!!

I ordered this clock in the "tan sand" color and was surprised and disappointed to discover that the face is just gold glitter. It isn't sand and it isn't tan, and the amount of glitter sparkle makes it harder to read in a sunny place. It's going back.

I would like one of these to give as a gift, because my friend saw it and loved it. I like the bling and the look of this and it has kept perfect time since I bought it a few years ago.
