This is the best thing since sliced white bread!It actually works! I couldn't believe it. I had a knot the size of two fists in the back of my hair and this brush arrived this afternoon. I took it right out of the package and started working it through my hair. 15 - 20 minutes later... NO more knot!!!! I have never been able to detangle my hair that fast, even with my favorite very fine toothed comb. It usually takes two hours or more to get rid of a tangle that size. I love this brush. Whomever invented this brush needs to get an award of some kind.The brush fits comfortably in the hand. It doesn't hurt while working on the tangle. Usually It hurts like the devil when I use my comb. My hair is fine and it tangles very easily and the knots are usually very hard to remove. Think undoing a knot in a piece of thread compared to a piece of twine or rope.I still can't believe how easily this brush handled that huge knot. I did do my research before I bought itthough. I read tons of reviews all over the internet and watched a lot of videos of this type of brush being used, but I still didn't believe it would work so well. My hair isn't broken off and my scalp is intact. Wonderful, brilliant, fantabulous brush! I think I might buy a few more of these and keep them stored away in case they stop making them.This is money well spent!Works for me YMMV.Oh and I didn't get a discount for this review, I didn't get it free. I left a Seller Review without realizing that I still have to review this product.I purchased this product mainly for myself and my daughter. We both have straight to wavy hair that hair brushes seems to hate especially at the ends. I'm glad I got this product as there are no more ouch moments for my daughter who hates brushing her hair (she only uses this brush now or nothing). This hair brush detangler stays in our bathroom and my husband got curious one day and started brushing his hair with it. He has serious case of dandruff and uses it to loosen them (serious ewwww factor moment right there!!!!). Thankfully, this brush is washable in warm water and of course upon discovering that, my husband uses them to scrub his head/hair while shampooing! So this is apparently great for people with short hair to use in shower. Other great uses are to massage scalp and promote circulation. Even my 4 years old son uses this for his hair (got to be just like his dad). Overall, I think I need 2 more brushes because with two kids and a husband (who seems unfazed with bright pink color)... misplacing this brush already caused a tremendous uproar.

I already own 'The Wet Brush' (http://amzn.com/B005WWQXB6) and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. I was looking to order another since there have been more than a few school mornings where it goes missing. My 7 year old girls will not let me brush their rats nests' with anything else! Anyway, when looking up detangling brushes on Amazon, I just happened to notice that this brush got more and higher reviews than The Wet Brush, so I decided to order one and give it a try. As soon as I opened the package and felt the brush I immediately had a feeling that I had made a mistake. I tried it on myself right after I got out of the shower and it was extremely difficult to brush through my own hair that was not even extremely tangled. The bristles are stiff and do not easily glide through hair like The Wet Brush does. I tried the brush on one of my daughters' hair and it was much more difficult and time consuming to detangle than The Wet Brush. Bottom Line: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS BRUSH....GO DIRECTLY FOR 'THE WET BRUSH'. (even better....get the 2 pack. You won't be sorry!)

I am used to The Wet brush and was hoping this would be as gentle on your head. The bristles are hard so it doesn't feel very good when brushing. Seemed no different than using much cheaper brushes.

Just okay. It's not what my daughter had in mind. She's 7 with straight med. thick hair and expected brushing out tangles not to pull or hurt. To me it's the same response as with her normal hairbrush. My only like about it, is that it is easy to clean with no little balls on the end of the bristles that collect hair and dust.

I purchased this one morning when my daughter was complaining about using a regular brush on her hair. I had purchased the Knot Genie before and she loved it but it was pricey and she had lost it. The brush is as described and keeps those tantrums under wraps. I like that it has a handle as the Knot Genie does not have a handle and makes it difficult. We have since found the old brush and my daughter seems to prefer the NG when given the choice. However, the bristles look the same and they both work the same, and if she is not looking she can't tell the difference. So in the end I say it is an good choice without the heavy price tag.

Only had this brush for a week now, but so far it has worked to bet my 10 year old daughter to brush her hair every night. Before it was always a fight to get her to sit down enough to brush her hair, she didn't like it when her mom pulled on her hair to get the tangles out. Picked this brush up and she doesn't complain near as much. What a relief, she has been growing her hair out for several years and wants to keep her long hair, with her never wanting to comb it out we were about to chop it all off, this brush may have just saved my daughters hair.It is a lightweight brush that has several different lengths of teeth on the brush that help to remove the tangles with minimal effort, and less pain then the standard brush. Not really sure why this works or makes a difference, but then I've never had long hair. All that matters is that it works and my daughter likes it.

I had heard about these, so I pounced when I saw it on Amazon. It's simply amazing - tangles have no chance with this brush, and it doesn't tug on your hair or break it in any way either.

Bought this as its cheaper than the main one Tangle something but this pulls my hair more, hurts and the bristles- the way they are made are not right for the purpose of the product. But my husband loves it as the ends are sharp and uses it to scratch his head!

Christmas present for my sisters. They both absolutely loved this product as we all have thick hair prone to tangels! Really good quality product and a good affordable price. It was delivered quickly and packaged very well! I’d definitely recommend this to all women and I will more than likely purchase this for myself!
