Q: Can you roll the brim up?

Q: Does anyone have any thoughts as to fit? I have an average size head, but massive, thick, long hair. Think it'll fit me?

I wear a size 7 in hats. It fits me fine and has some give to it. I would think it would work for you as long as your hair wasn’t in a style that made it all go to one spot.

Q: Is the band removable?

The decorative band CAN cut removed, but I chose to cover one with a coordinating scarf. You can also baste on a silk flower or add a pin.

Q: The description says you can adjust by means of a velcro strip but others say it is a string that ties-which is correct?

There is a velcro small tab inside the band to adjust the size to your head. In addition there is a detachable cord that keeps the hat from flying off your head in wind which goes under the chin. As it is detachable, you can remove if you do not want to use.

Cute hat, great price!

Bought this last minute for a vacation to Africa. I don’t usually wear hats so I don’t own any but as I knew that where I was going would be oppressively hot, I decided to buy this hat that I thought would go with all the outfits I had brought. When it arrived I thought it looked decent. I checked that it matched the outfits I had packed and I was right. It was a good choice.I think the hat was good value for the money I paid. Perfect size
