I do not like the short little manicure sticks, period. They're hard to grasp and use with accuracy.I use the flat end to push back cuticles, and the round end to clean under my nails. The sticks are smooth and splinter-free. I've always used orange wood sticks in the past, but these are just as good. I'd five star them if the flat end was cut with a finer edge, but that's a minor criticism. A finer edge lacks sturdiness. This is just a personal preference. I do like them and I'm glad I bought them.

These are very nice. Well worth trying, once you do you will be pleased you did.The diameter is a bit larger easier to hold, a nice smooth surface, very comfortable. The flat end is a very little curved making it easier to work the entire cuticle back gently up and around the side. Pointed end hold up well it didn't get "mushy" after a few uses. These are not as good a quality as the classic orange sticks that used to be available. They are much harder and may splinter or curl. I will look for something else after these run out.

I have been buying manicure sticks for years as I work in the industry. These are much better than the others I have found. The angled side is a steeper angle which fits in tight areas easily without disturbing polish. The pointed end can be used for dotting or picking up nail gems or other nail art items and can be used to move them after applying to nail. This product is very versatile and I'm sure there are many other uses that I have not thought of. They are also very reasonable price,these are a very sturdy product.

These are far superior to the orange sticks that are found in every salon and beauty supply store. They are well-crafted (no splinters), heftier, and longer. The tapered flat edge is better at pushing cuticles. I use these mainly to tidy up the polish applied to my nails by dipping them in polish remover and running them along the sides of the nail where it meets the skin.

I purchased this product for use on an electronics work bench and I have no complaints.

Too thick, not your traditional size for manicure use--but amazon returned without hesitation:)

LOOOOOVE THESE!!!!! This was truly a great deal, I cannot stop cleaning my cuticles and the dirt underneath my nails! It get it there well and I love how smooth they are, VERY safe! Will definitely continue ordering these
