Another good purchase, used when I was going through my lock picking phase.

As a locksmith enthusiast, I was looking for a reliable and comprehensive toolset to practice on, and the Loboo Idea 15pcs Dimple Kaba Lock Pick Set did not disappoint. This set is perfect for beginners locksmiths. The tools feel sturdy and well-made, offering a good balance of flexibility and durability. The Kaba lock opener is incredibly effective for tackling double-end locks, and the variety of picks ensures that you have the right tool for every situation. Whether you're working with a complex lock or just getting started, this set has all the necessary components to help you develop your skills. The only downside is sometimes I feel the bits could be held in tighter as with locks that have stiffer pins, the bit does rotate in the spindle which can lead to thinking you've set the pin when in fact it's just the bit that's rotated.

This dimple lock pick set is a great place to start if you want some picks for this particular type of lock. You get 10 different, flag style dimple picks, with gnurled coloured handles to easily distinguish them, 2 tension wrenches and a soft, wrap style case to hold them all in. The case has individual pockets/slots for each item and a top flap that folds over the picks, so they can't fall out. You get a good selection of sizes and left and right sided flags so you can manipulate locks where the pins are set on either side of the key slot. You also get curved flag picks, so it is easier to pick higher set pins. My one reservation is that the shafts of these picks are square, so they are harder to turn in the keyway than if they were round. You may want to modfy these picks to make the shafts round and easier to use. The picks are attcahed to each handle with a small grub screw. These seems to be very well made and are ideal for beginners who want to learn how to pick dimple pin locks. Well worth considering.

a very well made set of picks. they come square rather than round so you will have problems with tight key ways. that said once finished as i do all my lock picks they are simply awesome!. lots of different sizes and shapes they (after being finished) fit almost every dimple lock i have tried. beginners will have problems with this set and use too much force because its so easy to use. the handle screws on to clamp the picks it can move a little sideways ,but then if the end of it is sanded a little to make it tighter its fine.

Das Set ist sauber verarbeitet und von ordentlicher Qualität. Im Lieferzustand ist es m.M. nicht zum sofortigen loslegen geeignet sondern muss auf die Gegebenheiten und eigenen Vorlieben angepasst werden. Die einzelnen Picks haben eine brauchbare Form und sind sauber ausgearbeitet (sichtbare Länge 44mm). Als Material wurde wahrscheinlich gehärterter Federstahl verwendet und hat eine Dicke zwischen 1,1 und 1,4 Millimeter. Der Schaft der Picks ist an der Griffseite vom Querschnitt rechteckig und verjüngt sich nach vorne zu einer quadratischen Form. Diese Form muss auf jeden Fall nachgearbeitet werden und der Schaft rund gefeilt bzw. geschliffen werden. Die Haken sind mit einer Madenschraube am Griffstück befestigt und können bei Bedarf ausgetauscht werden. Ein Inbus-Schlüssel ist leider nicht dabei. Der Griff an sich liegt gut in der Hand und ist vorne und hinten leicht gerändelt (Länge 94mm, Durchm. 11mm). In dem Set sind 3 linke Haken, 1 gerader Haken und 5 rechte Haken enthalten. Von den beiden Spannwerkzeugen sieht eines aus wie eine Ninja-Waffe. Wer bereit ist ein wenig Arbeit zu investieren erhält für wenig Geld ein gutes Pick-Set
