After using this for two weeks, it appears that my hair is getting thinner in the area where it is applied. Has anyone else encountered this?

My hair got thinner, a LOT on the left upper forehead side. I mean, I have LOST hair, and it is not growing back. Roll the dice!

Should hair be washed after using it?

You should wash your hair with shampoo or soap only when you are ready to wash it out.

Will the white adhere and cover brown rooted on snthetic wigs?

I don't think it will stick to any wig. It won't even stick to my hair or my scalp. It's like putting nothing on your hair. SUPER frustrating and a total waste of money. The more I tried to put on, the less it stuck. I tried everything...shaking it on; also barely touching my hair and scalp with a puff; then tried putting more on; I also tried a soft makeup sponge (new), AND a soft new makeup brush. NOTHING works to get this hair powder to stick. I tried two different colors and products of Finally. ZERO help. I had to go to something more expensive (Boldly), but it works great! So does the Joan Rivers hair cover pressed powder. Avoid Finally. AWFUL. Hope this helps!

The product is made in the USA. I really did like it a lot but it takes some trial and error. I have not used it on my eyebrows. I have only used it on balding spots on my hair. The blonde is way to blonde. I ordered light brown and made by roots brown. Looks like an ombre. I have used many, many , other hair fibers, makeup and this is one of the few that I would recommend as far as hair makeup.
