My daughter uses an iPad mini to communicate - she has oral and verbal Apraxia. We’ve used other cases from vendors that are geared towards the disability community. They cost around $90+ dollars supposedly have a speaker “amplification”and fall apart within a year; the neck strap is garbage. I was skeptical to purchase this BRAECN case, but at the price, why not? I also purchased the screen protector that Amazon suggested. WE ARE THRILLED with this case! It’s sturdy, sleek, and easy to carry either by hand or the neck strap. It does not lay flat on its back (due to the hand strap). I can hear the speakers better than I did the old case that supposedly “amplified” the sound. The only small con I have is it’s a bit confusing to put together (even with instructions). We finally figured it out (by zooming in on the pics displayed in Amazon).
