Works for Janome MC9850 👍 9mm - high shank.
I was not sure this was going to work. However, I couldn't send it back without at least trying it on my machine. It absolutely worked!!! I literally cheered 📣👏👍 out loud! It was very easy to install. I used double layer fabric with Interfacing. The quality is very good. It does not feel cheap at all. We will see when I put it to the test this weekend. 👍 I have a Janome Memory Craft 9850 - 9mm - high shank. 👍👍📣👏😁 It worked. 👍👍📣👏😁

Wonderful foot
I am grateful that I found this foot. It was a learning prosses for me. I recently had to buy a new sewing machine because my thirty plus year old Kenmore died. Went to put my walking foot on new Janome and to my surprise it came up short. (my bad should have read that new machine was a long shank.) I tried three feet before this one they where very cheaply bad and did not fit right. Then this one came. I love it works better then my old foot did and has a nice heavy duty feel to it. I expect many long years form this foot.

Works perfect on my older Elna
I'm a quilter and I've been trying to find a walking foot that will work with my Elna Elite 8600. This one works PERFECTLY! Now if I want I can use a decorative stitch to sew my bindings.

Disappointed
This product started out working well. But as soon as I was about one-fourth of the way through it's first project and 10 days past the return window it just seemed to quit doing anything right, i.e., it would not push the fabric through on the bottom (Just bunched it all up), and moved so that the needle was hitting the foot. I checked to see that it was attached securely, it was. Took it off and re-installed it. Nothing seems to help. So now I get to buy one from someone else

Works well!
Works very well at a much better price point than many others. My wife has used it for a few projects now & is very pleased

Lever gets stuck
Fits my Janome MC8000 but the lever gets stuck in the up position (as others have mentioned), and basically defeats the purpose of a walking foot. Not sure why it doesn’t wrap around like other walking feet I’ve used. I tied it to the needle piece with some elastic and that works for now, I guess.

Works perfectly for this machine that lacks inventory for presser feet. How do you sell a machine without other feet available? This $1700 machine is ok but needs more if quilters or dressmakers consider purchasing it. I bought this because of the harp size and other than that I prefer to sew on my Bernina 1008. This machine claimed to sew thru bulky layers and I think not! I sew quilts, bags & clothing. This presser foot was the best thing that ever happened to this machine and honestly was ready to store it away til I got the walking foot. If you buy this machine, buy this walking foot and you won’t regret the almost $2000 purchase.

Bar keeps getting stuck in up position
Using new on a quilt, 3 rows into quilting, the bar that rests on needle screw keeps randomly getting stuck in up position so upper feed dogs don't work. I'm going to try to return it for a replacement.

Quality issue
Totally scraped the foot it out of alignment blocking the needle.

Used it quite a lot already, and holding up well, feeding the material through well
I have a Janome 525S, and this has been excellent so far. Incredibly cheap compared to the Janome version. I don't know whether it will last years, but really pleased so far. Fitting instructions could be clearer. The bar had to be raised above the tension thingy.

Good Price
Bought to replace my Janome name brand walking foot (which I broke). Looks very similar to the one I had, though not as expensive. Didn't want to spend too much on getting a new one as I only need it for small quilting projects. Works well.

Almost returned it
Didn’t fit my vintage White brand machine but I managed to jerry-rig it using some bent All-Round wrapped around the needle bar. Works fine now.
