After using this pump for several months, mine does leak, unfortunately. It is a subtle leak than so hard to notice at first. However, I am forced to keep the bottle inside a large ziplock bag inside the refrigerator so it does not continue to leak on my shelves. The pump application works well but the leak is inexcusable. Less headache to measure out the teaspoons.

First off, I did not purchase this pump. It came free with a bottle of liquid glucosamine I bought for my dogs. The pump has proven to be very handy, but there are a few things you might want to know before you buy.First, my dogs are large (both between 85-100 pounds) so they need four teaspoons of this liquid per day, with twice daily feedings that means two pumps per feeding. I was a little dubious about the claim that the pump dispenses one teaspoon with each pump but that is absolutely correct. I've tested it three times now and I get one teaspoon per pump consistently. However, be prepared for some splash. I always wait to put the liquid in my dogs bowl until there is food in the bowl because it keeps the splash down to a minimum. I can't say the dogs enjoy the flavor so much they will lick up any splashed liquid on the sides of their food bowl so I pump carefully.Second, liquid finds a way to seep out between the pump and the cap, not much but enough so you can't help but see it. I don't know how, I just know it does. Maybe I'm just a clean freak, but about three times per bottle of liquid I have to take the pump off and use a stiff fingernail brush to get the crystalized liquid off the pump. Then I replace the pump on the bottle and wait until there is enough crust built up for it to bother me and then I clean it off again.This review isn't about the liquid glucosamine product but I can tell you it is doing such a wonderful job with giving my older dogs much of their mobility back that I'm perfectly willing to put up with the slight inconveniences from using this pump. It certainly beats holding up that big bottle and measuring out one teaspoon amounts twice a day!

No reply from Active Science regarding my email 3 days ago concerning the leaking pump. Less mess using a spoon as in past.I am a happy weekly purchaser to Amazon Prime, this is only my second complaint in 3 years, not too bad, glad it was only $5.95........

Leaky from top and along where it replaced the cap. maybe I got a dysfunctional part but for 3$, It's not worth the return...

This is so much easier and better than trying to measure out dosage with a measuring spoon!

Does not work. The top part just spins and spins around but there is no way to get it to actually pump...

This is the easiest way to dispense a glucosamine supplement I've ever come across. Beats tablets, ubavet syringe and powders. Buy one and re-use it on each new bottle... this thing is built like a tank.

The pump leaks and the spout shoots the Liquid almost straight out. The pump is completely worthless.
