It's super comfortable and was easy to put on even when my baby was a newborn. The zephyr color is great and works well for either sex (we have a girl).My baby is very small for her age. She is currently 3.5 months and we are having some difficulty keeping her comfortable in the catbird. She no longer likes her legs frogged, but even with the crotch cinched as far as possible it seems like she's uncomfortable with her legs out. They appear to be forced too wide apart.I think we will outgrow this stage and with bigger babies it may never be an issue.EDIT: She's now 6 months and we're back to using the carrier, usually in the side/hip carry. Easy, and she's still a feathweight so it's not a problem for my back. This is carrier number 3 for us (we've also used baby bjorn and ergo) and it is by far the best carrier. The catbird carries the baby close, like the ergo, but the straps criss cross in the back. This is far better as I don't feel all of my sons weight pulling forward on my shoulders like I do when I wear the ergo.Additionally, I bought the support belt.
