I recently purchased this item to connect my older model Pacman game that did not have an HDMI cord to my tv. It works seamlessly! It was very easy to set up & doesn’t take up a lot of space. Worked great to connect the old SNES to the Samsung smart TV. Can’t believe the system and games still work ~30 years later. Pretty seamless setup of just plug in and connect. Like ridiculously easy. Teen was humbled playing MK2 and immediately seeing Game Over. Graphics were as I remember from way back when and sound was good! Can’t wait to relive my youth with the rest of the 90s games, thanks to this converter!

I loved this HDMI adapter I bought to connect my DVD player to the new TV. The installation was super easy, about 5 minutes. I only connected the RCA cables (red, white and yellow) to the adapter and the HDMI cable to the TV. And ready! The image looks amazing, very clear and stable. The 1080p scaling gives a modern touch to the old DVDs, they look like new! In addition, it is very small, so it does not take up any space behind the TV. So far I haven't had any interruptions with the signal or anything that interrupts the movie. We used it for connecting a Nintendo 64 to our new TV - it works perfectly! Video quality is the original quality of the games. No issues with heat, durability, cable length or size.

I use this to connect my Old GameCube and it works great! It has an adoption to change quality of the TV format since it's more pixelated on the game cube. It's great!

We grabbed this up for both our older A/V Bose DVD and surround sound system that is still kicking (2007, when Bose still put out high quality), so I could hook it up to our modern t.v. with HDMI. No need to buy a new home theratre surround sound set up when that's still top quality in sound beyond anything that cost more than $2k. The second device I occasionally use this for is our old N64 to hook up via HDMI. Giving 4 stars due to lack of color from the Bose- and we didn't use this for the N64 due to that. Instead, we used our old classic 32" CRT with AV, for that authentic era-correct feel when playing N64. Works well enough to have set up surround sound, though!

Funciona a la perfección, pero ojo! Eso no quiere decir que la calidad de imagen sea buena en todas las consolas antigüas, eso depende del televisor que se tenga. En mi caso en una televisión OLED la sega Mega Drive no se vé del todo bien la imagen y en PS2, se ve a la perfección . En demás plataformas no he probado. Muy recomendable por ese precio.

I’m using this on my Nintendo 64 and it works great! The power cable is a bit short and the placement of the port could have been next to the HDMI port for convenience but still, it works!

This converter makes it possible to attach my aging Sony PlayStation 2 to a more modern Flat panel T.V. and makes it possible to enjoy and play games on the PS2 further extending its life. It comes with a upscaler chip to choose between 720 P and 1080 the the picture quality is good in both setting. The only drawback is that the converter needs to be powered by external USB cable ( Supplied with the unit ) and it takes up the USB port on the PS2. The other minor grievance is that it exposes the PS2 video output as primitive in the age where 4k output has become the standard. Besides that, It is a good buy.
