To trim them I have always used shears and a new pair had become due. But seeing this Bosch battery powered hedge cutter advertised at only twice the price of a decent pair of shears I decided to buy it instead. What a good choice! It's lightweight, easy to use and sharp. It easily cuts privett, box and quite 'woody' shrubs. I find the blade is just the right length in that it doesn't overbalance the tool. It also makes it easy to shape shrubs. The capacity of the battery is enough for all the work I have to do and delivers sufficient power without the hassle of trailing cables, extension leads and the inevitable cutting of the power line. I've owned many Bosch products and this seems as well made as others. I am confident it will last. If like me you don't have another Bosch battery product make sure you buy the option with battery and charger. Review: Quality Product - The hedge cutter feels light and well balanced in your hands making it easy to use. when I first started the cutter it didnt seem very powerful and I thought it would be hard to cut anything on my hedge other than new growth. My worries were not necessary and the cutter was easily cutting branches up to 10mm. I am very happy with this tool and I like the fact that the batteries fit other Bosch tools. I have wanted to move over to cordless power tools and now I am happy to go with the Bosch system ## Features - Optimal Balance and Ergonomics - Designed for enhanced comfort and control. - Diamond-ground Blades - 450 mm long with 15 mm tooth opening - Lightweight - Minimise strain on the arms and back whilst working at only 2.3 kg - Anti-Blocking System - To allow powerful and continuous cutting, where other hedgecutters stop working - 18 V Lithium-ion battery - No self discharge or memory effect ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07ND7ZVV8 | | Best Sellers Rank | 3,024 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 9 in Hedge Trimmers | | Blade Length | 450 Millimetres | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade length | 450 Millimetres | | Brand | Bosch | | Brand Name | Bosch | | Colour | 1 Battery & Charger | | Country Of Origin | Germany | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 567 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 03165140969666 | | Included Components | AL 1810 CV, EasyHedgeCut 18-45, PBA 18V 2.0 Ah | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 10L x 10W x 10H millimetres | | Item Type Name | EasyHedgeCut 18-45 | | Item Weight | 2.3 Kilograms | | Item weight | 2.3 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | BOSCH | | Manufacturer Part Number | 0600849H70 | | Material Type | Diamond | | Model Number | 0600849H70 | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Power source | Battery Powered | | Product dimensions | 10L x 10W x 10H millimetres | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Bosch - **Colour:** 1 Battery & Charger - **Item weight:** 2.3 Kilograms - **Power source:** Battery Powered - **Product dimensions:** 10L x 10W x 10H millimetres ## Images ![Bosch 0600849H70 EasyHedgeCut 18-45 Cordless Hedge Cutter with 18 V Lithium-Ion Battery, 450 mm Blade Length, 15 mm Tooth Opening - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51JC+LXI0RL.jpg) ![Bosch 0600849H70 EasyHedgeCut 18-45 Cordless Hedge Cutter with 18 V Lithium-Ion Battery, 450 mm Blade Length, 15 mm Tooth Opening - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81OnnMJbxKL.jpg) ![Bosch 0600849H70 EasyHedgeCut 18-45 Cordless Hedge Cutter with 18 V Lithium-Ion Battery, 450 mm Blade Length, 15 mm Tooth Opening - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61IXTe0nw7L.jpg) ![Bosch 0600849H70 EasyHedgeCut 18-45 Cordless Hedge Cutter with 18 V Lithium-Ion Battery, 450 mm Blade Length, 15 mm Tooth Opening - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51kPTQTzb7L.jpg) ![Bosch 0600849H70 EasyHedgeCut 18-45 Cordless Hedge Cutter with 18 V Lithium-Ion Battery, 450 mm Blade Length, 15 mm Tooth Opening - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81DXe7TZYZL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How long does the charge last!** A: On a full charge of an hour the battery can last about two hours. I purchased the Bosch as I have two batteries with my Bosch cordless drill that are interchangeable. The cutter is very light and does a great job in less time. Kept the Bosch electric trimmer in the loft as back up. **Q: want to know is this light weight as partner has cut through wire of 6 machines as find hard to control** A: It is reasonably lightweight, I am 73 year old female and can manage to cut all my hedges on my own **Q: How does it compare to 36v?** A: Hello, Thank you for the query. The EasyHedgeCut 18-45 does have slightly lower specifications than our 36v hedge trimmer (AdvancedHedgeCut 36) as it has a blade length of 45cm vs 54cm and a tooth opening (maximum size of branch that can be cut) of 15mm vs 20mm it does however have a slightly faster no-load speed of 2,400spm vs 2,000spm. As a result of these differences it is also the lighter of the 2 machines at 2.3kg vs 3.6kg. Best regards, Robert Bosch Power Tools **Q: How does this compare in power to bosch 0600849f02 ahs 50-20 ?** A: Hello, Thank you for the query. When comparing to the AHS 50-20 LI there are a number of differences mostly relating to their maximum capacity as the AHS 50-20 LI has a 50cm blade with a 20mm tooth opening (maximum cut diameter is determined by this) whereas the EasyHedgeCut 18-45 has a blade length of 45cm and a tooth opening of 15mm. Beyond this both items are able to run on the same batteries and chargers and run at very similar speeds of 2400 strokes/minutes for the EasyHedgeCut 18-45 vs 2600 strokes/min for the AHS 50-20 LI. I had charged them for 4 hours and were perfectly adequate for hedge but on some of the thicker twigs they seemed to jam ## Frequently Bought Together - Bosch 0600849H70 EasyHedgeCut 18-45 Cordless Hedge Cutter with 18 V Lithium-Ion Battery, 450 mm Blade Length, 15 mm Tooth Opening - Bosch Cordless Grass strimmer EasyGrassCut 18-26 (1x Battery, 18 Volt System, Cutting Diameter 26 cm, in Carton Packaging) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/133922671-bosch-0600849h70-easyhedgecut-18-45-cordless-hedge-cutter-with-18](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/133922671-bosch-0600849h70-easyhedgecut-18-45-cordless-hedge-cutter-with-18) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
