Well, it's almost a year later, and I have nothing but good things to say about this wheel. I use my bike about three times per week, going to the store. And about half the time, I'm hauling all I can fit on the bike and inside my backpack. I'm carrying a backpack weighing about 25 pounds. The rear basket is carrying about 40 pounds, and I weigh about 180. And the average distance I ride per trip is about a mile. I didn't think this tire would hold up, being made of aluminum. And it's very light compared to a regular stell wheel. But, I was wrong. It has held up very nicely. The tire is still very straight, and the spokes are tight. I do regularly lubricate the bearings every four month with a high quality grease. But, that had nothing to do with the structural integrity of the rim and spokes. I'd definitely recommend this wheel.
