Women's Britney Clog

These shoes are very comfortable, but after less than 3 months of wear, the veneer on the lower portion of the show is coming apart. For $130, these shoes need to last longer than that! I will contact the manufacturer and hope to get some resolution.

I love my Dansko Britney Clogs. I've had them a few months now and they are so comfortable (have been from the beginning.) I have bunions on both feet which cause issues with shoes. I also have flat feet and learned years ago that I need a good support in the arch to keep my feet and legs from hurting. I've tried several different brands through the years (Born, Josef Seibel, Vionic, Dr. Martens, Birkenstock, Merrell, Naturalizer, New Balance, Taos, Timberland, ASICS, Dansko, just to name a few). I've found that Vionic has good slippers but the footbed is too hard for other shoes. Birkenstock has great sandals but are limited in styles to choose from. ASICS GT1000 or GT2000 are great for running or exercise shoes. Then Dansko fills all the other shoe needs- dressy, casual, cute. They keep my feet and legs happy all day.

It’s super cute, and the leather top feels great, but... they’ve changed the sole to some squishy foam stuff, so I can’t wear them. Other reviewers have mentioned that they wear out really quickly, so I am sending mine back. There are a couple of mule styles left with the hard soles, but I needed something somewhat dressy, and they are not. Had to go hunt up some old styles on eBay.

Beautiful wine color! Accommodates my bunions which make my foot a little wide; these shoes don't make my feet look super wide like some other clog brands that are great for wider feet, or feet with bunions. These are great with slacks, leggings and maxi dresses!I appreciate the adjustable strap, too, as my foot isnt fat/wide all over, just wide at the toebox area. So I have adjusted the strap at midfoot to be a bit more snug.I like the lower heel-to-toe drop: higher heels put too much pressure on my toes.These will be great at work where I walk 6 miles a day in the hospital, as the foot bed is wonderfully cushioned, too. This shoe hits all the marks I look for in a shoe.

The attached pictures are of similar Danskos that I wore as a practicing Midwife for 13 of my 23 years catching babies at a busy urban Hospital practice. YES they lasted 13 years!! My daughter is 16 and I purchased them when she was 3 yo. I was so upset I had to say goodbye to them after they finally crumbled and DELIGHTED to find these that I have already started wear and expect to wear for at least another 13 years!!You will be happy with your purchase. They are comfortable and supportive at the same time!

The Britney clog was going to be my third pair of Danskos but it was not meant to be.I wear a 9 1/2 wide shoe. I used to buy a size 10 to accommodate for my wide foot but found that shoes were just to long. My foot is exactly 10" long which puts me at a 9 1/2 size.I have a pair of Dansko Professional in a 40 and they fit great and include the recommended pinky width of space in the heel. I have a pair of Sams and had to go up to a 41. The Sam's are one of the most comfortable shoes I own.I decided to go with a 40 in the Britney because of the open back. The shoes are too small. My foot went to the edge of the shoe. They pinch up by the toe knuckle and across the top of the foot where the strap lays. Even after loosening the strap one hole, they were still too tight. I was afraid to go up in size because I didn't want to risk the shoe being too big and slipping off while I walk.I'm not sure why there is such a size discrepancy between the different Dansko models. You might want to go to a store to try on your next pair.

I have purchased Dansko shoes before. This pair is the most miserable wearing Clog. They make my toes very sore. The material that surrounds the clog base immediately started peeling off by the 2nd time I wore them. For the money I paid for these shoes, I expected them to hold up for a lot longer than they did.

It was like it was custom made. I was in heaven. I always have trouble getting a good fit. I could not believe I was comfortable for an entire day on the first day - heaven! I drove then 12 hrs later I realized my feet felt like I was wearing a glove.I am ordering another pair right now.Also I wore my Amazon compression knee highs which is a nth thicker than a stocking.

These start out extremely stiff and I’m having a very hard time breaking them in (sore spots).When I walk I find that I have to crunch up my toes to keep these from falling off, I actually tripped on them the other day.They look very ergonomic so I hope once I’ve broken them in they will improve.
