Amazon totally dropped the ball. Shipping was delayed. When it arrived the strap was cut in half and bag was dirty/stained? Plus, they charged my debit card twice. ("oh no, the first time is just an authorization. it's your banks fault") Bottom line the quality of the bag was very poor. Not worth $280. Really don't think it was brand new. Some close out deal they're passing off and cleaning up on.

This is a lovely bag, looks very stylish and is large enough to hold everything you need for work - a small laptop, files, lunch, etc. I loved using it daily for just under a year. However, despite the fact that I took great care of the bag, after 10 months a strap broke right off! I was walking down the street and the thing just snapped. The bag was not overloaded at all. For almost $300, this poor quality is absolutely not acceptable. For this reason, I do not recommend this bag.

I had the Michael Kors jet set bag in my wishlist for a long time and when it was finally to buy myself a new purse I reconsidered since it is all over Pinterest and it seems like everyone has it. I love the upgrade feel of this Kate Spade bag. I own a few others and this item is authntic. It arrived with its dust bag, green tags and all of the zipper hardware and inside pockets have the right logos. It definitely is large enough to hold a laptop. It's very well structured and the saffiano cross hatched leather is a very elegant touch.

I have used this purse for approximately one year and cared for it so meticulously that there isn't even a stain on the bottom of the thing. This was my first purchased from Kate Spade and I LOVED the bag! The size, color and style were perfect. The straps however, are a different story. As you can see in the photo's after one year of use ALL 4 straps have torn. I have much cheaper purses that have not torn like this and I have used them for many more years. While I love this bag, it breaks my heart that I can only get one years use of the $200+ I paid for it. I am hoping my bag must be a defect, but I cannot bring myself to risk another $200+ to find out!

Bought this as an anniversary gift for my wife and it held up beautifully for the first 6 months. After that the handle began to unravel. Now my wife prefers not to carry it because now it looks ratty.

This purse is perfect for a sleek professional look, it is sturdy and beautiful at the same time. I am thrilled with it.

The quality of this bag is very poor. I ordered the product in April of 2016 and by July 2016, the straps had all but ripped off (see images). I tried to continue using the bag here and there but became too nervous that it would fall apart on me and thus I discontinued usage. Earlier this month, I decided to reach out to the seller via Amazon Customer Support and received no response. I do not recommend this product.

Beautiful and well-made. The straps are kind of thin but so far the bag has been holding up just fine. I'm able to fit my 15" laptop in here with plenty of room to spare. I also pack my large wallet, umbrella, and planner.
