Not bad, but Janneau XO at £57 is a better choice. This is over priced, over hyped nonsense. It is aimed at people who have too much money and no taste, which fits the profile of our elites these days. I know taste is a difficult thing to argue these days, but few people have it.

I've had much better cognac served to me by working class serfs in a public house. It was that bad, I ended up giving it to my servants. They'll probably appreciate it a lot more, as their palates are much less developed than mine.

As the others have stated , it's alright. But is it worth £2k? Not a chance...Plain & simple, don't waste your money, even if you can afford to!

This is an elegant cognac for those who have developed an understanding of the world of cognac.I have tasted many hundreds of excellent cognacs, but the complexity and smoothness of this example is impressive. However, everyone has a different palate, educated or otherwise. I recommend this to those with advanced expirience and knowledge.
