I bought this fish to keep ants away from the pet’s food and it worked great. I would think it would do the same for roaches.

If wanting to keep other insects out the best bet is a feeding station that is enclosed. I don't know about sticker I just set it on floor and it does work great I have seen ants by it on floor but not in the bowl I love it
