what are the dimensions?

The one I purchased is square, about 9 x 9 inches, it’s really good I make cakes without greasing, but this one looks the size of a loaf tin.

Do these really work without baking paper?

Yes, like you I also wondered if they would really work, so I did lightly grease them with cooking oil and a pastry brush to make sure the base and sides were all covered, {took less time than fitting greaseproof paper} They need to be put on a baking tray as they are so flexible so much so that you can turn them inside out when empty. Flexibility is great for releasing the cooked cake

Is this suitable for 2lb recipes ?

Yes, this will be fine for a 2lb recipe. Having previously seen another response I made 2lbs of batter, and split it between two tins. Had I realised in time I would have added it all to this tin, as there would have been more than enough room.
