Best Spatula ever!
I waited until I had used these a few months before rating since some other reviews said it was not durable. That is the opposite of what I found! I have a spatula like this that belonged to my grandfather. I love this multi-use tool. I had been searching for more of them for our camper and cabin. This is it! This versatile tool allows you to flip things in tight spaces better than a spatula. It is great for chopping up things like hamburger and tomatoes as they are cooking. It works fantastic with a wok or when you are deep fat frying. It is sturdy and the long handle keeps you out of the heat. I love the slots for draining and straining. These tools have been reliable! I am hard on spatulas and all 3 have stood up! Bonus! You get 3 for this price!

Amazing kitchen tool.
I used to have a vintage one of these and did not think I needed it in my kitchen. So we relegated it to the kitty litter box, where it worked great for over 20 years. When it finally broke I ordered a package of three. I put one over at the farm for kitty litter and the other two in the kitchen drawer. My husband came home while I was cooking with it for the first time. The look on his face as I explained that I had used this tool for 20 years as a cat litter scoop and never realized, until now, what a brilliant cooking tool it is. I said this as I was using said tool to remove the sautรฉed veggies I was fixing him for supper. It was priceless! Well with all that said, this tool is better than a spatula because the veggies do not roll off, and it is far better designed than any slotted spoon because, unlike a spoon, this tool is a perfect shape, and has exactly the correct angle to fit against the side of the pan. My daughter came home from college last week and helped me cook dinner. She loved it so much she took one home with her. ordering more for my kitchen.

Apparently, the closest replacement for my old Kitch-a-majig
Once you're used a Kitch-a-majig you'll know that it is one of the handiest tools in the kitchen. I have used a few, replaced them as the riveted connection of blade to shaft gave out and they broke. So, in the brave new world, Ecco no longer makes this, I am sure that Ecco no longer exists, really, and everything is made in China. Great. So, other reviewers complained that the spot-weld joining the blade to the shaft was weak and broke after a short time. I took note of that and have been using mine somewhat gently, but they seem pretty sturdy to me. The old Kitch-a-majig was not exactly a super sturdy tool either. I bought three of theses at once as I did not want to go without and the price was pretty cheap, I have to say. These are stainless, which is a boon. My old Kitch-a-majigs are chrome plated steel and after long use they do rust in spots where the plating wore away. So, these are, in my view, just as good with the added benefit of their being made of stainless steel.

Great size, shape and handle length for a litter box =^..^=
Great kitty litter scoops! Years ago, I had a litter scoop that was very similar to this. It broke at the weld area )where the scoop is joined to the handle) and I haven't been able to find a replacement . . . until I happened on these. I know they're not intended as litter scoops, but they're fantastic for that. I love the long handle and the fact that it's stainless steel. It doesn't hold onto odors and is very easy to keep clean and germ free by just wiping it down with a Clorox wipe. The scoop area is also a great size & shape for getting into the corners of the litter box. I mean no disrespect by saying this skimmer makes a great litter scoop!

Kitchamitch is a good thing
My first item like this was made by Echo and I used from 1986 until it finally gave way a few months ago. I use it for all of my cooking, browning meat, etc. While this item works very well it is not made as well as my old one. It is not flimsy but is not as strong as the original so I expect I will be happy I purchased three. I would recommend it to be purchased as it does the job, just order a backup!

Kitty Litter Scoop, really?
I use one of the spoons in the kitchen as a skimmer, and other two leave the kitchen FOREVER and are used as kitty litter scoops! The design is so much better than scoops made for that purpose! They skim through the litter easily and litter residue does not cling to them. Iโve been using this style of skimmer for my litter boxes for years, but the two I had before were not as sturdy, and they both finally broke. Then I bought the typical litter scoops and was really disappointed in how inefficient they seemed compared to the metal skimmer. I searched for this style again, but I couldnโt find any in my local stores. So I was very happy when I found this one on Amazon. They are great no matter how you choose to use them! And the price is great.

Great replacement for an old standby.
These things are really handy and seem to be of good quality. I panicked when I realized that a similar tool I had been using for years was about to wear out and tried to find a new one. The scoop part is almost exactly the same as the old one but the handle is longer and the plastic is nicer to hold onto than the old one that just had a metal loop. I use mine to scoop out fried or boiled foods, to stir pasta and lots of other things. I keep it in a small crock on the back of the stove with the few tools I use most often. The old one is retired to a drawer - no way will I get rid of it until it is totally demised. It was great to get three of these. I intended to have two for gifts since I know that this will be a very usable kitchen tool and even though I accidently ordered two sets of 3, I have already placed four of them. I know these will all find homes where they are used and appreciated.

Some years ago Lakeland dropped this item from their Skyline list and from the kitchen shops since when I have been searching for it to no avail until I found it on Amazon quite by accident. It's such a simple utensil but so cleverly designed and balanced it is like an extra hand and is actually shaped like a palm. It used to be a common standard tool in old kitchens so its withdrawal has been inexplicable - palm up it will whip batters and cream and lift helpings out of a stew, palm down it will break up the mince in the pan and mash potatoe.s Thanks to Amazon for restoring it. - it was always called a kitchamajig! and so it was.The three skimmers received lat week are perfect and so welcome AK AK

You may laugh...
I use these for kitty litter. I've used them for years. I used to be able to get them at the $store. For a dollar'ish. Yes, they were cheapish they were however functional and great for scooping. Then "they" stopped making them. Everywhere. Not @wmart. Not @dollar stores. Not @Cdn Tire. Not @homehardware or @homedepot. Not anywhere in Ontario. They were replaced by stupid plastic pieces of crap that didn't have the long slots and weren't functional for scooping. Then I found these, they just arrived and much to my delight (it's the small things) they are of super quality! Heavy metal not flimsy at all! Excellent handle and length. Totally worth the price.

Still as good as ever
I have had on of the original kitchamajig utensils for decades - they are still as good, although the plastic handle is "new". But okay. Can't imagine life without one.

Yes! I finally found one(3!)
Perfect! I have been looking for this tool for years as mine has become battle worn from much use over the past 25 years. Great value and fast delivery. Could not be more satisfied with this transaction.
