Medium Dog Undercoat deShedding Tool for Long Hair

I would give it 10 stars! I have tried so many brushes on my shepherd’s and no one worked half as well as this one! It’s so satisfying to get piles of hair off them! I tried it on the cat and he loved it and I got tons of hair off him too! If you’re considering buying just do it! It’s worth every penny!

In retrospect, my decision to acquire this product after a decade of contemplation appears both judicious and long overdue. Initially deterred by what I perceived as a steep price point of $75 upon its initial release, circumstances have evolved, leading to a reassessment of its value, which we paid $28.98. With the addition of three feline companions and the unforeseen acquisition of a dog, previously regarded as an inheritance, our household dynamics prompted a reconsideration of this investment. The catalyst for our purchase was our newfound reliance on the TSC Dog Bathing Station at our Tractor Supply Store, where the convenience of a $10 dog bath, devoid of the complications associated with home bathing, became increasingly apparent. The avoidance of bathroom-related chaos and the elimination of persistent cleaning endeavors {cleaning afterward -including the ceiling when they shake off water and through out the house as they dry- because they provide towels for drying your pet and they have a dryer there} and the circumvention of the need for multiple towel washes to eradicate dog-related odors all contributed to the tangible value of this innovative product which they provide for customers to use for free and see how valuable the Furminator is. In light of our experiences, I unequivocally endorse this product, recognizing its remarkable efficacy in enhancing the well-being of our pets. The transformative impact on their disposition became palpable as the product effortlessly addressed the accumulation of dead, soiled, and burdensome fur. Witnessing the discernible improvement in our pets' happiness serves as a testament to the undeniable benefits conferred by this exceptional product. DO NOT FORGET TO BUY THE FURminator NAIL CLIPPERS TOO!! "Indispensable FURminator Nail Clippers" In addition to the stellar performance of the FURminator Deshedding tool, a noteworthy addition to our pet care arsenal is the FURminator toe nail clippers. Having expended over $200 across sixteen years in pursuit of an effective solution for nail trimming, our search culminated in the unparalleled efficacy of the FURminator pair—a sentiment equally applicable to both canine and feline companions. The decision to explore the FURminator nail clippers was serendipitous, motivated by a moment of curiosity during the acquisition of the FURminator for fur maintenance. Priced at a modest $8.95 on Amazon, my initial skepticism was swiftly dispelled upon utilization. This impromptu investment emerged as the epitome of judicious decision-making, surpassing the performance of previous acquisitions with unparalleled precision and efficiency. Conclusively, the inclusion of the FURminator nail clippers has fortified our pet care routine, complementing the transformative effects. This inadvertent discovery serves as a testament to the brand's commitment to quality and reinforces our unwavering endorsement of FURminator products for comprehensive and superior pet grooming.

This works SO well. Our rescue lab mix has two layers of fur and gets very itchy at certain times of the year - this goes right down to her skin and removes a TON of hair without hurting/scratching her. Wish we'd bought one sooner!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars I recently visited North Carolina and a friend had one of these brushes for their dog. After seeing how well it worked, I came home and immediately bought one for my American Akita—and I am so glad I did! After just one day of using it, I noticed a huge difference. I had several large chunks of loose hair removed, and there was noticeably less fur around my house. The brush glides through his thick coat easily, even getting through small tangles and mats if he hasn’t been brushed in a while. What I love most is that it doesn’t seem to pull or tug at his hair. My Akita actually enjoys being brushed with it, and I can tell he feels better afterward by the way he acts. His coat looks healthier, feels softer, and he’s much more comfortable. If you have a dog with a thick coat or heavy shedding, I highly recommend this brush. It’s been one of the best grooming purchases I’ve made, and I think every dog owner should have one! 🐾❤️

Good tool, I wish the tines were a bit longer as my dog (Mastiff) has longer hair and it is hard to get to the undercoat.

My adorable mix breed dog, that I rescued by the side of the road, is one of the worst shedding dogs that I ever owned! And I use to have St. Bernards. So I took my dog to a great, new vet at Useless Bay Veterinary on Whidbey Island in WA state. The vet used this product to check her for fleas or mites and her undergrowth fur came out, like cutting warm butter. She didn't even jerk or feel the vet brushing her. Super to use. Has a push down "button" that clears away the fur. She is not shedding fur now! Great product. And she is not scratched like the saw blade instrument I usually used. Her haunches are super fluffy and long furred that gets knotted up and matted. I still had to cut the mats apart to get this tool to do it's designed job. This gets the loose fur off the skin and is a great size to match her diminutive size. So I looked at the vets supply, for sale. The small size was sold out, so I tried to find it for sale on Amazon. Super happy to have found it!!! She is too. Wonderful product and worth it to make a great review. If you have medium or large dogs get the size that's comparable in this product. You won't be disappointed. Took a little time to get it, but so happy to learn about this undercoat removal tool for my dear dog, especially as using it does not scratch her or hurt her. So, so easy to clean, with each stroke of the tool. Light to hold over lol ng grooming time. If you are a doer and manage your dogs grooming, this tool is PERFECT! The sizes are done by the pound weight of your dog! Performance is spot on.

Works so well removing my dog’s undercoat and impacted fur. The button sticks a little but that could just be the brush I have. Super easy to clean and helps with shedding. I have an Aussie husky mix so this helps to do multiple times a week during the summer.

Works very well. Very sturdy. Gets undercoat up and out. Very satisfying too. Extremely happy with the purchase

Cumple con lo que promete y es muy fácil de usar

I was sceptical , I mean very sceptical, was worried about my cat fur, but it’s so gentle as long as you don’t press hard, it runs SMOOTHLY doesn’t damage the coat (in-spite of looking sharp and “intimidating “), and removes tons of loose fur. Didn’t hurt my cat at all, and you know you removed all the undercoat when you feel some resistance. I tried on my hair first to see if it hurts or cut it😅😅😅. But it ran smoothly and didn’t hurt. I used to have a cheap one from another brand, it damaged and cut the outer layer it was like a razor blade. I omitted one star cause I only used it once, 10 minutes ago, so I can’t say whether it’s working or not. Just be careful with the whiskers it pulled and cut one, wasn’t paying attention.

This is such a handy tool, I use it most days to reduce fur in the house as I’m allergic and it’s made a big difference to my health

Funciona bien

If you have a kelpie, YOU NEED THIS! It gets rid of so much hair. My dog loves it too!
