Hell's Kitchen: Season 8

This has nothing to do with the show, I adore Bobs Burgers and was so excited to see it being released again on DVD.Don’t be fooled like me though. These aren’t mass produced DVDs. They are only made for Amazon and are crap!! They freeze constantly, if you fast forward it replays the last episode you just watched. It’s really frustrating and for the amount a normal dvd set that does not have those issues cost.Very disappointed. I was going to buy the other seasons but won’t be going to. I’d rather stream them online.

According to a representative for Fox, the seasons 6-8 of Bob's Burgers was intended to be made available only through streaming. The DVD releases on Amazon were more of an afterthought. The menus are very basic and the coding of the discs has some issues. That being said, the show is still just as funny and original as previous seasons.

this episode and the season, just like every season is a 5 star rating. the reason you dont see a five star, but maybe a little less is because a person wrote a review complaining about the fact he or she has a mac and cant download the video, and with a full connection cant get the stream to run smoothly. this is not a forum for complaining about the site. its to rate the show and how you liked it. if you have problems with streaming or other issues, you contact customer service. this person also complained about losing 3.01 on their bonus money. the way to handle this is simple. call customer service, and with most cases they will add a few cents to make up the difference, even a dollar at times to get you the movie you want. especially if you had problems with streaming. they have, and do track when people have problems with this. and they also at times send an email giving you credit so you can rent it again or choose something else. or they just repay you the money. and as for the mac, they tell you up front cant use with a mac. so it shouldnt be a surprise.now, this season, hells kitchen, season 8, i believe is fantastic. they have nutty chef's on there to make you laugh, ramsay is up to his same style of teaching, and the only thing that might be a little upsetting is that John Phillipe is not there this season. and i cant find out why in any circles. i find many answers to he was hurt, or setting up a new restaraunt for ramsay some where else. but make no bones about it, this season and ramsay are great and worth every dime. this season is a real in your face kind of season with all the fighting. but its still fun, funny, and very entertaining as usual. believe me its a 5 star all the way. i wish people would use the forum to complain. in here you just rate and write about what you saw. well i own every season and i loved it as usual. if your a fan, im sure i dont need to tell you. if you havent seen it, i would say rent it or own it. either way you will love it. at least most will. and the early seasons are fantastic as well. each season is different in its own way. it going into its 9th season, so i think that says it better than me.

i as well thought the gene pool for season 8 was a bit thin in the beginning and didnt know who might be the front runner. but in a way that is a good thing. as for how they pick, it seems as though people send in tape, or dvd of themselves doing a variety of different things such as cooking, or trying to be funny when they cook, or being silly like one guy with a belly where a woman in a tub is waiting, with a bathing suit on, and another woman taking his towel off revealing a speedo bathing suit which made his belly look even bigger, and he says "why wouldnt you pick me". funny yes. would he be picked. well he never made the cut thank god. but they choose from over 10 thousand people from around the country who sent in information about themselves and a dvd saying and doing something. but as usual they made it work. and the personalities this year were really funny. like that big goof in the beginning who did karate? and in the end you could make a argument for who should have won. i wont ruin the surprise if people reading this havent seen it. not that anyone is reading this.......i enjoyed the season, loved it actually. but im sure as many of us do, i have my favorite seasons, just due to the chefs they happen to pick that year. not because of the format, or anything ramsay did. i love the show, i still think its the only one if its kind, unique, and entertaining. i believe all his seasons including season 8 are a must buy. i watch them over and over and still have a lot of fun doing so. i loved season 8 and if your a fan i say buy it. if your not, then check it out and see for yourself. your missing out on something very creative. the challenges, the food, running the kitchen, the raw emotion, and the nutty chef's they bring in, and of course the star of the entire production , ramsay himself. its just a great show.

I have been a long time Hell's Kitchen fan since season 4 and this is the first DVD I had bought of the franchise and it didn't really want to play, it would start normal then the disc would have a heart attack and I had to restart my DVD player in some cases. So if any future consumer buys this product , just note that it will start glitching and skipping or completely stop working if your on title screen for to long.

These brand new, fresh out of the box DVDs are playing extremely poorly with major glitches and abrupt forward skipping of sections. I suspect excessive copyprotection is to blame, since CD and DVD publishers have long abused the error correction coding system, by deliberately filling the disc with errors to near the limit, in order to thwart the disc ripping process. There is no other reason for a brand new DVD to have this much trouble playing back in a perfectly functioning standalone DVD player. You seriously can't trust anything you buy on Amazon, so buyer beware.

Amazing, just a delight to watch again and again. If you don't buy this you are what ever negative things you imagine you are.

It wont play but mabe 2 shows a disk and it was over $20 dollars I even tried cleaning my player with no luck

If imported dvds don't play in the UK, then why sell them??? Really disappointed.

Recieved when expected and in good condition. There's nothing special with this box set. There's no special features and no booklet. But I'm totally fine with that. The DVDs' work, that's all that matters.
