Lucky BrandMen's 221 Straight Jean

Fake
These are fake, I have worn nothing but Lucky jeans for the past 4 years. Yes they are a fairly good knock off, however if you are charging the same price for the jeans this is unacceptable. The zipper piece that says lucky you, lucky me is missing. The back leather piece simply says Lucky brand. The pocket liner is not the correct material either.

NOT 221 “Original” Straight Leg Jean
Buyer Beware! These are NOT the 221 “Original” Straight Leg. These are 221 straight leg. The same ones sold at Costco for $30 and have a more loose fit and not as soft of a jean. Picture contains a couple of Original Straight Leg Jeans I own and the pair I just sent back for a refund.

rendering the jeans useless. My mother
Do not buy these jeans. I bought two pairs; one came with the button already half detached and I had to return it. The second one lost its button after about 6 months of use. The sewing mechanism that keeps the button (above the zipper) in place is faulty and as far as I can tell, will fail 100% of the time, rendering the jeans useless. My mother, who is a seamstress, tried sewing one of the buttons back on but it eventually fell off again. The button design is flawed and prone to failure. I repeat, do not buy these jeans.

Faulty front snap
Every pair of Lucky Jeans I've purchased on Amazon has eventually broken the front snap. Super poor quality. Two pairs both broke the first time I wore them, before the first washing. The snaps easily break. Very very frustrating. I took them to a local Taylor and had them fixed, but I should not have to spend that time or money on fixes new jeans.

Poor quality
As you may have noticed, LLucky jeans are not cheap - And I had been a fan of Lucky Jeans (women’s) for 20+ years because the fit and quality in the past has been fantastic and worth the price... However, my opinion has changed.... Christmas 2017 & 2018, I purchased over $700 (each year) worth of Lucky Jeans, in various styles and colors, for my 3 college age sons. Within 8-10 months, every pair had at least one irreparable failure. Buttons fell off (not the type that can be sewn back on), the back pockets ripped and/or holes were worn through, and the crotch and inner thighs ripped.; not at the seam but right through the denim material! The current quality is comparable to $15 Kmart or Old Navy Jeans! At first I thought it was just a fluke, a one-time event, or possibly a “bad batch” ... so I continued to buy more. Unfortunately, the quality issues are not a fluke. It’s almost as if the Lucky Brand tags are being sewn onto a look-alike Jean. Amazon (and Lucky Brand) should really look into this.

TERRIBLE Quality Denim...
These are by far the worst jeans I have ever bought. The first pair that were sent to me had threads pulling out of the seams upon arrival. Then, on the replacement pair, after wearing for 3 months, the jeans wore out and ripped at the same spot those threads were pulling in the previous jeans...which tells me that there is little to no quality in this denim.I will not be purchasing another pair of Lucky Brand Jeans, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone, ever.

My favorite jean brand
My second pair of Lucky Brand jeans, but I found the comfort and fit to be exactly what I was looking for. I got both a 221 and 121, one for looser fit and another for closer fit (wife doesn't like baggy jeans :- v )***Update: after less than a year of wear, the button has become detached. Looking at the design of the attachment, it looks very cheap. I was a Lucky fan, but I'm going to have to try another brand since they have become less than acceptable quality in construction.

Lightweight with a Little Stretch and a Great Look with Sneakers
Easily my favorite pair of jeans. Enough room in the thigh so they don't fit too tight, but still has a good leg opening that allows for a good look with sneakers. I've gained a little weight since buying these and yet they've conformed well and the overall fit remains incredibly comfortable. From what I can tell, this pair is different from the ones they're producing now. All the newer ones appear to be 100% cotton and don't have that slightly stretchy feel that this pair's material mix allows for. I'll likely buy a few more pairs of these soon, just so I can have them for the future in case I need them. Everyone has their own taste and unique needs/wants for jeans, and these are near perfect for me. So I'll be sad if I have to go hunting for another brand again. The closest I've come to finding a similar pair is the Miracle Air line from Uniqlo, but those are pretty tight in the thigh and don't have as good of a look as these. Plus, they've been out of stock for months and don't appear to be coming back.

Quality is cheap. They do not last long.
With just under 6 months of semi-regular use (I work in an office) these jeans started fraying at the pocket early on but now that the crotch area has completely worked out. I find this completely unacceptable, a pair of jeans should be able to be durable and last long. I don't know if it's cheap quality or just a freak occurrence as this pair was a reorder because I enjoyed the previous pair thoroughly.I will not be buying Lucky brand jeans any time soon if their product can't even last 5 to 6 months.

One of my fav pairs of jeans
Very comfortable, love these jeans. I got them on a deal of the day for cheap but after feeling how good they are its worth the 100 they want for them normally.

... "Lucky brand" in the stores and have fallen in love with this line of Jeans
I've purchased Lucky brand in the stores and have fallen in love with this line of Jeans. I came across this line on Amazon, so I checked the fit of my pants and ordered that exact fit. When the pants arrived, they said "vintage fit" which is what I ordered but the fit way different than the pants I already had. They narrowed toward the ankle which is not like the Vintage fit I had and the overall feeling of the denim was different. The leather badge on the back is different and so are some of the labels that are stichted are different. I will be contact amazon directly to get my money back.
