Remedy Ultra Herbicide with Triclopyr 2 (Gallon Jugs)

Does not require a license to use in Texas. Works well mixed with water or diesel. Good on brush and weeds. When used with diesel it only needs to be sprayed on the bottom 18 inches of brush. It works well on prickly Pear cactus when mixed with diesel. Somewhat slower to kill when mixed with water. Works well killing junipers less than 18 inches when mixed with water.

I bought 10 acres which has been a field of hay. For a few years they hadn't been properly worked and maintained. I checked with the county extension office on what it would take to get the blackberry/brambles with some dog fennel under control. For the brambles "Remedy" was the answer and could be handled with a 4 gallon backpack sprayer. I bought a couple of gallons and read completely the directions. I found that mixing a blue die marker to the solution would help in not spraying areas multiple times and wasting mix. After spaying and viewing the results about 3 days later I found some brown spots on the leaves and some leaf curl. After about a week to 10 days I was coming up to a sprayed area and saw a lot of yellow on the plants. Thought it was blossoms. When I walked up to the plants I found it was the leaves dying. Looked almost like fall color change. At 2 weeks it appears that the sprayed plants had met their maker. The results are very satisfactory at this point. Let's see what the results are at 6 months and a year. If I get 90% plus kill now, a year from now a small amount that wasn't successfully killed returns, a follow-up spraying should get the results desired. With adjacent properties having the noxious brush this will be an ongoing problem. I think that the use of this herbicide on a continuing basis, I should be able to keep my land in a much better condition. I still have about a gallon and a half of product for future application. Great product to kill weeds but if not used properly will kill everything

I cant say I'm happy with this product. I mixed remody with diesel fuel at the ratio per instructions. Sprayed it on bottom 18 inches of some honeysuckle shrubs. Gave it a month. Absolutely nothing happened . Mix it again and sprayed the leaves . It only slightly wilted them but I think that was mostly the diesel fuel . This product was $212 . I could have just sprayed diesel fuel and save the money it would have been just as effective by itself

I love the product. It works great killing mesquites in the pasture. However, the last two jugs received were nearly impossible to open.

Keep the over spray down to a minimum.
