Microbe-Lift XTA16 Xtreme Water Conditioner Treatment for Aquariums and Fish Tanks, 16 Ounce

I’m skeptical with certain products for home aquariums but my 40 gallon, 10 year established freshwater tank is heavily stocked and well planted with various mature plants. It is a thriving tank but also looking a bit jaded. My old conditioner has been discontinued and I was dreading the trials with a new product as some of my were also getting up in age. I researched fairly extensively and felt this one might be the one. I started, and still, only dose ½ the recommended amount to ease the new product to the tank with the next water exchange and no one seemed stressed, except me. The tank is looking great after using this: plants, invertebrates and fish all are thriving and the water is clear. I'm very pleased to recommend this. I’m still using a ½ dose with the water exchanges as I replace ⅓ volume of eater.

Use it in my tank with shrimp,algae eaters, and fish . Keeps water in great conditions haven’t had to change the water for months and it’s still testing good.

Microbe lift, as a terrific product. We switched to all of their products, this is high quality water conditioner. You can tell just buy the way it pours into the measuring cup. It’s not like all of the runny watery, looking conditioners out there.

I’ve had a freshwater aquarium for over 10 years now. Tried about every water conditioner on Amazon. This stuff is hands down the best I’ve tried yet. Plants look better, fish are more active, snails and shrimp are thriving. My search for a water conditioner is now complete.

This is my favorite water conditioner for my fresh water aquarium, but it’s hard to find in the pet stores.

Ordered this for maintenance on my 60 gallon tank. I have used it for a water change, adding water due to evaporation, and for maintenance. It is good stuff, and works similar to other products. The good: it comes with a VERY handy measuring “shot glass” with both ml and oz measurements. So useful! I use this handy measure for all of my tank products! The other stuff - after a couple of weeks, it does what it claims - it is a water conditioner, stabilizes water, and detoxifies water from both fish and human contaminants. There had been no change to aquatic health after switching from another product. The bad: most products like this also have biotics to help in the tank. This lacks biotics. The ugly: not a good value. Unless this product drops the price to be competitive with other similar products, I probably will not be re-ordering. If it was $10 or less, I would probably migrate to this brand, as the fish and tank seem to like both equally! Equal performance, then I go lower price….

I have set up many tanks, and tried many different 'cycling' products, and will forever be loyal to this one now! I simply dose daily for about a week, and watch as it quickly goes through the cycles. It doesn't skip the cycle all together, but it does speed up the process. I watch as the ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates raise and then lower. All of my tanks are happy and healthy months and months later! I've recommended this product to everyone I know.. I am in no way affiliated with the brand and I didn't receive anything to write this review. I'm just loyal customer that has had proven results from this product. I've even set up 2 identical tanks, dosing one while not dosing the other, and the dosed tank was ready about 5 weeks before the other one.

I've used microbe-lift products for years with no problem. I've used it on established tank during water changes mostly but I've also used it when starting a new tank. Never had any issues

Microbe-Lift ( ou = ARKA ) Xtreme (pour préparer l'eau du robinet à la vie des poissons en enlevant le chlore et métaux lourds) = conditionneur d'eau => de vrais bons produits avec de VRAIES bactéries vivantes 👍 pour ceux qui sont fait pour l'entretien régulier de l'eau des aquariums. Plus besoin de démonter l'efficacité de cette marque depuis x années (en espérant que ça ne change pas dans les prochains mois/années..., et tous les VRAIS aquariophiles de longueur date, qui utilisent cette marque, le diront (comparé à d'autres produits similaires vendus en magasins... qui sont beaucoup moins efficaces, voire pas du tout, HORS conditionneur d'eau => comme s'ils nous / vous vendaient de "l'eau colorée" selon les types de produits pour aquarium... avec des tarifs ↗️ +++ , et SANS aucune bactéries vivantes..., même si c'est écrit le contraire !! ) 🔸️Bactéries vivantes concentrées = odeurs +++ obligatoirement ! 🔺️Pour ceux qui se plaignent de l'odeur de la plupart des produits d'entretien de cette marque (odeur tout à fait normale, avec de VRAIES bactéries comme dans la nature ... vous exagèrez en disant que ça sent dans toute une pièce, même de 25 m2... et même quand la bouteille est bien fermée ! 🙄). 🔹️De mon côté, pour les produits d'entretien, (HORS conditionneur d'eau) j'ouvre le flacon / la bouteille juste le temps de verser le produits dans l'aquarium (soit 10-15s maxi), sans le doseur, car je connais par cœur le dosage ...), puis je le referme direct, et range TOUS mes produits (et j'ai x bouteilles de cette marque pour l'entretien de l'aquarium = ceux qui sentent fort...) dans mon meuble sous l'aquarium (meuble fermé, avec des portes), et AUCUNE odeur ni dans le meuble (et j'ai un odorat très fin et sensible!), ni dans la pièce le lendemain... ! => Alors, soit vous fermez mal vos flacons / bouteilles, soit vous en mettez en côté même sans faire gaffe, (que ce soit même que 2 ou 3 gouttes sur le rebord...) , soit vous rincez mal (voire pas du tout) le bouchon doseur ... ! ⚠️ Les produits avec des bactéries vivantes ne doivent surtout pas être stockés près d'une source de chaleur, que ce soit un radiateur ou près d'une fenêtre où le soleil donne.

Great product at a great price will be back for more when run out as long as price hasn’t tripled. Always use after cleaning fish tanks and water change and never had a problem, straight forward easy follow instructions, I prefer to get the larger bottles so happy with size. Fish must be happy and content as always breeding 😂. No spikes in levels so very effective.
