Forget about the other 18" leather bags -- this is the one to buy! I actually ordered a few others on Amazon and elsewhere and sent them back.When I received my Jaald rucksack at first I was a bit worried, it arrived in a somewhat small box so I thought I'd ordered the wrong item ... but no, the rucksack was carefully folded and once opened fully I was delighted to see the bag's sturdy leather. hardware, and the finish was beautiful!My primary use for this bag? I travel a lot and plan to spend at least two months annually overseas. That being the case I'll put all my travel essentials in this bag as a "carry on" and then at my various destinations, I'll use the bag as my "carry around" for camera, journal, phone, and other on-the-ground needs. It's just perfect and I am quite sure it will provide many years of service.Also a quick word about the Jaald folks: They could not be nicer or more professional. From the time my bag arrived they sent word tracking my purchase, ensuring everything was OK and offering help if needed. They may be a small company but they are "fierce" in the best possible way. I have been looking at some of their other leather goods and already have my eye on my next purchase.Don't hesitate -- this is a great product.

I've had this backpack for just over a year now. I use it about every day for work. One of the two top zipper's doesn't work and one of the teeth is crooked and jams the zipper from closing all the way. As others have said, the front pouches never stay closed so you need to be careful or things can fall out. I get lots of compliments on how attractive and masculine it is which it very much is. I would not buy it again because of the zippers. I don't know why they don't switch to a nylon type of zipper, these just aren't made to be opened and closed every day I guess. I read the reviews about the zippers before my purchase so I have been very careful to not try to jam or abuse the pack which is why it still looks like new after a year of use. Unfortunately, the zipper issue is not something that is tolerable. Also, I don't know why they couldn't use snaps or velcro to hold the pockets shut. The leather is a thick quality and otherwise wears well.

I ordered this bag as a gift. And to my amazement I love the craftsmanship the stitching was great. The only thing I didn't care for was that it was folded in order to ship it. But overall a beautiful bag and my boyfriend loved it.

Love this bag!!! However it did come smelling rather pungent so, I left it outside open to dry out a bit more and it has been perfect. Great quality, tons of room and extremely sturdy. I have used mine daily for 2 years and it is still my favorite (purse) Thank you! 5 stars

I ordered once and received a bag that smelled so bad I couldn’t take it. I submitted for an exchange because the design of the bag was so very nice. I’m glad to say the second bag that came in was everything I wanted. I love this bag!

nice bag just not put together very well it suppose to be leather coming apart at the seems in different areasnot a happy customer, there is another piece that matches this backpack the duffle bag but a afraid to order and bedisappointed thanks

Received the backpack on time, roomy, just what I needed. The handle broke two days after delivery. I paid to get it repaired and the manufacturer reimbursed for the repair. Customer service was excellent. They contacted me very quickly.

Another great quality product, bought to give as a gift. Lots of compartments for holding other items such as pens, keys, chargers etc. My college nephew loves it and wants me now to get him a briefcase. Would highly recommend.

Its very user friendly.Quite fiddly with the strap.The bottom back of the bag pushes against your back.

Ho acquistato questo zaino perchè dovevo sostituire il mio vecchio toshiba che con tanto onore si è comportato. Bello. ben fatto, di grande fascino, certo se vi aspetate uno zaino super ergonomico con tasche per tutti i gusti non ci siamo, questo ha quattro tasche esterne (una più grande) e una tasca con zip all'interno. Il fascino che emana però è ineguagliabile, sembra veramente d'altri tempi. Spero però che l'odore (chiamiamolo così) passi presto e che la qualità sia pari alla bellezza (ma questo solo il tempo e l'uso lo potranno stabilire), per il momento 5 stelle meritatissime.

Davvero un prodotto eccezionale ad un prezzo imbattibile! Lo zaino è realizzato con cuoio di qualità, lavorazione impeccabile, capiente e comodo! Quando arriva, il cuoio risulta un pò duro e può richiedere un pò di tempo prima di ammorbidirsi (o in caso un trattamento conun prodotto specifico), ma questo indica solo l'alta qualità dell'oggetto! Consigliatissimo!!!

This is hands down one of the best bags I have ever seen. The quality is outstanding each stitch is done with love and you can tell right away this bag is going to last. I do think the draw string with have to be replaced eventually but I am a brute. You will just not find a better bag for the price.
