I purchased Dad, I Want to Hear Your Story for my dad for Christmas, and it has already been such a special experience. We sat down and completed a few pages together to get him excited, and it created such meaningful conversation. I can’t wait to visit him again soon to see how much he’s filled out and to learn more about his life, memories, and story. This book is a beautiful way to connect, reflect, and preserve family history. I would highly recommend it as a heartfelt gift for any dad.

I bought this book for my father-in-law to help him write down memories of his childhood and life story — and it exceeded all expectations. The prompts are thoughtful and plentiful, covering everything from early family life to personal values, life lessons, and everything in between. There are so many questions, and they really encouraged him to reflect deeply. Some even brought him to tears (in a good way), as he revisited meaningful moments he hadn’t thought about in years. It’s become a powerful way for him to document his history and share stories with the rest of the family that we may have never heard otherwise. Highly recommended for anyone looking to preserve personal or family history. A beautiful gift with lasting impact.

This is a great gift idea for parents. I got them for both of my parents, as did my husband for his. my mom, is a writer. She loves writing, and she loves reminiscing about the past. She started filling this out the day after I gave it to her for Christmas. I’d say she had most it filled out within a week! And then she started my dad’s! Lol. My dad has Parkinson’s, so writing can be very difficult for him, especially something like this. His memory is also not the best, so my mom figured she could write it for him, and help him remember some of these memories. She’s known him since she was 12, I’d say she knows quite a bit about him! I can’t wait till one day read over them. I had seen for these books on Facebook, but they were so expensive. I knew I could probably easily find them on Amazon cheaper. Sure enough, I did! Way cheaper! And they are the exact same books! I highly recommend these for your parents. It’s fun for them to look back at their lives, and it’s fun for us to take a peek into their lives.

I gave this to my Dad on a random day because I told him it wasn't really a gift for him, it was really a gift for me. He said he has enjoyed writing and reminiscing while he has filled it out though! I can't wait to get the completed book back!

Very clever gift idea I purchased to complete and give. The cover's material although durable did arrive with signs of scuffing, still exceptable. Very slight, but if the cover wasn't quite as glossy with a more matte finish would have been preferred. There are tons of subjects to complete with plenty of space to write. The pages paper quality as well as the covers are very durable. Very pleased and once completed will be an appreciated, informative gift.

I bought this for my dad for Father’s Day. He is 76 years old and I realized he has so many amazing stories to tell. I love reading his answers and having it for my children to get to know their grandfather’s story

Fantastic book for Dad to write all his stories down!!! Highly recommend it even if they don't write anything in it since it just shows how much you love and appreciate hearing their stories. An amazing gift and can't wait to hear back from my dad when he's finished writing the book. The book is quite long so it takes a while for each person to finish the book. ( I got the mum one for my mum as well)

There are a lot of simple but really good questions for your father to fill out and I can't wait to give this to my father so I know a bit more about him and his past. If you have or had a relationship with your father where you don't talk much, this is a great way to get to know him a bit better. I'm very exited to see what my father writes in it and hope you will be too. ;)
