I purchased this sculpture for my husband's home office and could not be happier! The office is a rustic industrial modern vibe and this fits so beautifully on the hutch. It is sturdy and substantial and I love the design and texture of the piece. Beautiful hammered bronze on a black base. Well made, love the symbolism behind it about perseverance and hard work, and the price was right! Shipped fast and well packaged. Would recommend!

One of the nicest pieces of art I’ve seen in a long time. It’s open to interpretation. My interpretation is the wife/girlfriend/significant other metaphorically offering Support, to the husband/partner, the ball represents life's struggles. They’re working together as a team. Very nice piece

I've always been drawn to the myth of Sisyphus from the first time I heard it's daunting tail. And have long pondered it's philosophical ramifications, and commentary on existence. It's a wonderful piece of sculpture and I enjoy it daily. A wonderful representation in our home of two individuals who choose to double their burden in life for the sake of company along the endless toil. Well proportioned and just the right size. Not what I would call heavy, and definitely not flimsy either. Solid is how I would describe it. It's not difficult to move to dust around or rearrange. And I would rather not be bludgeoned with it either.

This is a very nice sculpture and looks exactly as shown. It isn’t flimsy either, it has some weight to it. Very happy with this purchase.

I love it. Packaged well. The ball was separated from the statue. When all is said and done I super glued a few pieces. Made thin so be careful.

Do you feel like on Monday all the hard work you did last week has been completely undone? Is every day like cleaning up blocks during playtime preschool? Do you feel like Sisyphus, rolling that bolder up the hill e v e r y s i n g l e day, only to have it roll down (and crush you on the way down, like in Indiana Jones?). If so, then this faux bronze statue is for you--or at least for someone you know! The first one arrived broken, but Amazon shipped me out a new one pronto and I gave it to my friend who thought it was awesome! I think it is awesome too! Although you might be tempted to send this to someone in Congress, or even the White House, to make a point about their pointless bickering and how at the end of the day they leave us worse off than at the beginning of the day because they can't get off of Twitter and just do the job we hired them to do, don't bother. They won't even understand the reference. Instead, buy one and give it to your high school English teacher. They know better than anyone what the term Sisyphean means! And they'll understand the reference and appreciate you having remembered them.

Purchased for a friend going through a difficult time to remind them that we are always here to help shoulder the load. It is very nicely made, unusual to find a helper for Sisyphus! Very pleased with my purchase.
